This is a smallish museum, but narrowly focused and packed with great stuff. The descriptions were easy to read, and they layout was engaging. Was worth the fee.

The price is right, and this museum is so much fun. You'll see so many retro things that will make you say, "we had one of those when I was growing up!" Kids get to try out the machines we grew up with, like a typewriter, vintage check printer, Atari, and I saw the same green dial wall phone that was in my kitchen growing up. There are some older things, too. Plus you get to tour the vintage buildings in the little village outside. This is a splendid diversion just off the Interstate. Be sure to visit the Dakota Dinosaur Museum next door.

We decided to stop at the dinosaur museum and hit up the Joachim museum next door! It was really cool! A little surprised as I did not know what to expect! There were many activities to do of these from our childhood and things we grew up hearing about from our parents. I liked this more than the Dino. museum. Fun fun!!!

Privately owned and operated with excellent examples and displays. Book shop had good gifts. Convenient location and very well lit - signs explained what we were looking at.

We stopped here to see The Dinosaur Museum as well as to see the machinery museum. Both were good museums to see. There is also a "historic" type town to see. Also there is a tourism information center where you can ask questions and pick up literature for other areas you might be visiting for your trip. Parking is free and close by the museums.

This museum gives a good history of the people and places in the area. There are lots of pictures and historical displays to see.

We stopped here for an hour and I wish we had more time. What a wonderful place to view dinosaurs. And rocks too. It is obvious that the people that take of this place care, really, really care about what they do. Everything, and I mean everything, is neatly displayed with lots of written explanations. We couldn't believe all the specimens they have on display. If you have kids, good luck getting them out of here. This museum is a delite for young and old alike.
