It may be a bit hard to find, tucked behind the parking structure off of California Street but if you want a small, intimate bar with some decent specials - this is it. They had music by a guitarist on the night we went - very nice. I was craving their big hamburger and was not disappointed. They have a good selection of beer in bottles and draft (there are other places with more). The wait staff was very good. Friendly and efficient. This place is good if you are going to a show at the Cascade.

Who would think tucked behind the parking lot is this great little restaurant/ pub waiting for you to find it.Had the Post office burger, salad and tea today, 10 bucks, HUGE... the place is full of history, has a real nice menu, but the specials are killer, Spaghetti dinner for $6 bucks, and its really good, El-dente cooked pasta, lots of wine in the sauce and full of meat, with garden salad and garlic bread, what more would you want??The night life is fun, always always music at night, Jazz the bartender is creative, ask for some drinks you've never had, and settle in and enjoy. Its the place to go, single, couple or group

Sought out this place after reading a previous review. Good beer and good food but the best was the bar maid. She let us have our meal in peace then came to talk to us. Extremely friendly and gave us some good recommendations of places to visit. If you are looking for and relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff make sure you visit the Old Post Office bar in Redding.

Had a great lunch here, steak sandwich, cooked just right, good drinks, and super wait staff, has a great "back in the day" atmosphere.

The Post Office Saloon is located in the old Downtown Redding Mall, just a few feet up the alley north of Placer Street. There is plenty of convenient parking. It's a good place for a drink, for snacks, for live music in the evenings or as a place to meet and mingle.

Nice place with a cozy atmosphere and live music. It's great to just sit back and have a good time. The bartender was very attentive and friendly. It's the best bar in town.

Exellent drinks, nice atmosphere, exellent food. The burgers are the best ever, with reasonable prices. Definitly going back!
