Fantastic experience. Take the $20 tasting tour - amazing value with barrel tasting in the caves as well as several reds. Andy was a fantastic guide and made it heaps if fun. Beautiful; setting on top of the hill. a good tip is to start here and work your way back to Rutherford as going against the traffic.

This vineyard is up Spring Mountain road outside of St Helena. The tour of the wine caves and explanation of the making of their wine is well worth attending the 10am tour. This vineyard is unique because it has vines in both Napa and Sonoma counties. We had the chance to taste the Cabernet from both counties straight from the cask. The woman performing the tour was very well informed and friendly.

We went to Pride Mountain as part of a day long private wine tour. Definitely request this winery on your itinerary! The drive up the mountain is wonderful. On arrival we met Jay who took us on a very informative tour through the facility including the storage caves which are amazing. We also got the chance to taste from a barrel during this tour which was a nice surprise. After the cave tour enjoy an amazing view from the "back porch". If you like great reds, friendly people and beautiful scenery, this is a must. But have a driver because it is a winding road to traverse.

Everyone needs to pay a visit to Pride Mountain Vineyard in their lifetime. The drive up to the vineyard is adventurous and breath taking. Once you're at the top the payoff is being greeted with delicious chardonnay wine overlooking paradise. Andy was our tour guide it was amazing how he treated us like family. I would recommend bring a lunch up the mountain to take in the beauty after the tour. Loved the whole wine experience. The bathrooms were clean and the winery was immaculate. Thank you Andy........

I flew back from Spain for a best friend's 50th birthday, and our first stop on this decadent birthday party extravaganza was Pride Mountain. As we made our way into the gorgeous mountains in a chauffeured bus, it was easy to forget I was actually back in the States. A few of the party guests are real wine connoisseurs, including a couple that owns a vintage wine bar, and another two couples who own small wineries near Santa Barbara, so it was a real treat to be on such an adventure with them. As we arrived at the vineyard, I was stunned. What a GORGEOUS winery and a perfect setting. It truly almost feels as if you are in a beautiful painting. The weather was perfect, the sky so blue and clear, and everything in sight was lush, rich green; just an incredible time of year to witness the beauty of this winery. The caves are sexy, the staff wonderful, knowledgable and attentive, and the wines are pure heaven!! I loved a few of their Syrahs and one Viognier in particular, but my absolute favorite was a "young" 2012 Cabernet so smooth and delicious, with hints of cocoa and plum, and so striking in finish that I had to buy a case. Truly yummy!!!!! The whole experience was perfect and the tour was great. I would HIGHLY recommend a visit.

Along with The Terraces (that doesn't have TripAdvisor reviews) and Clos du Val, this was one of our best, if not the best experience while in Napa. You have got to work for this one. It is a drive into the mountains on the Napa/Sonoma line. You have to give yourself some time to get here. But, it is worth it once you get there. The wines, views and people (Andy was our guide) are truly exceptional. We went to 13 total wineries over 4 days. My wife and I decided that we enjoyed Napa so much, we will try to make it an annual trip. We also decided to try to hit only new (to us) wineries when we came back. With one exception. Pride. It seriously was that good.

Over the course of the last 40 years, I have visited a number of wineries in California. Maybe 40 or 50? Anyway this is the best for three reasons:- the physical layout on the top of a very big hill is amazing. The layout of the wine rows looks like it was done by an artist. - their wines will speak for themselves. Wow.- I had a tour by a guy named Jay. He cared, he was knowledgable, he was proud. What more can a person ask for!

Personally a fan of the more quaint and comfortable wineries. This one is has both a nice tour and beautiful views. The staff is really friendly and knowledgeable without pretense. The caves are cool to see and the wines are tasty. They reimburse tasting fees with bottle purchases which is really nice.

Made reservations for Pride Winery, and at first had no issues. Staff was friendly, and I received an email confirming my appointment for the correct date. A week later everything goes downhill. I get a confirmation email confirming my tasting on the wrong date. Of course when I see this email I call to get clarification the person on the phone was useless and rude. Somehow they switched our reservation, and of course blamed me, even though I have the first email confirming the right date. Then, they tell me they are already busy for the original day I requested, and asked if I could come in a different time. I said no that is why I made reservations for the time I did originally. Then, after a long pause, they said we could come and they could try to squeeze us in. I did not appreciate the rude behavior so I took my business elsewhere. There are over 600 wineries in the area, you can find others with caves and romantic views.

The winery sits on the county lines of Napa and Sonoma. The tour and tasting is a must. Tour of the vineyards and cave with barrel tasting (2013 Cab) was informative and enjoyable. Staff (Anthony) were knowledgable and helpful. Merlots are the flagship but other wines like Cabs are great (especially the 2011). Note that your tasting fee is waived with bottle purchase. I highly recommend you buy at least one bottle per taster since the wines are small production, taste great and include your tasting. And the views on the vineyard are amazing. No other winery has these views. Worth the drive.
