lucky dogg winery

Same as post #1 we were lucky enough to be envited by the owner to visit his very young winery the next day. How very generous and excited about his business he is. Surely the lucky dog wines will only get better in the future. Thanks Brent!!

Laid back & welcoming boutique winery. They offer wine flights or by the glass. The Pinot I had was AWESOME. The pour was certainly was NOT generous, however the taste made up for it! We also shared a cheese plate which was delectable & presented beautifully. One of the owners served it, so it was alot of fun learning their mission & background.

Overall my wife and I enjoyed ourselves very much here. The lady doing the pours was very personable. The atmosphere was very modern and welcoming for kids as well as dogs. My only suggestion is that the pours were very minimal at best. I know it's just a tasting however the other ones seemed to give a lot more.

So nice to be the first to review a new business and to wish the owner and his team all the luck in the World! Our hostess (and her mother who happened to be sitting next to us on the counter) were friendly and welcoming and we had already decided to buy a bottle of their delicious viognier when the owner and winemaker happened by. An experienced winemaker with a real vision and passion for his craft, who then invited us to visit his winery and vineyards. This was just our stroke of luck and I'm sure it won't happen every day, but try and persuade him to organise vineyard tours - we learnt more about making wine in two hours than you will ever learn from a book. Good luck Brent, you deserve it!
