Farmers markets can be a little .... well, kinda boring - unless the produce is outstanding and a load of variety. This market delivers perfectly on both fronts. Amazing selection of organic and farm fresh fruit and vegetables along with other tasty treats such as homemade salads, dressings. My treat for the day was a gluten free (almond meal) cake, low fat/low sugar chocolate cake (half a cake for $8) - which may sound expensive - but it was exquisite. A cute little band plays in the background making it a light and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended for locals and visitors alike, you will not be disappointed.

This is still a fantastic farmers market, although be aware that its location changes when the new football stadium (Levi's) has a 49ers home game. This makes for a very cramped location that is not very stroller friendly. The changed location is near the library downtown, and if you go to the website for the farmer's market, they provide a map. Go early enough to find a parking spot. Wow! Amazing produce, bread, nuts, flowers, and entertainment for the entire family! This is amazing. Samples for everyone!

Not to be missed if you're in the neighborhood. Excellent selection of fruits, veg, prepared food, and other goodies. Well run, organized. Parking is an issue - go early if you can, or be prepared to walk in from the surrounding area.

Been visiting this market over the past four years. The finest selection of fresh fruit and vegetables from local farms. Good selection of organic fruit and veggies. Keep in mind that what you see in the market is seasonal. Best season for the market - summer.

We spent an hour at the Mt. View Farmer's Market on Sunday, September 1 and it was a feast for the eyes and taste buds! First stop was at the bakery stand -- dense, fresh artisan breads! Then to the fruits and vegetables, flowers, nuts, and most every stand gives out samples. What a great place! A musician was playing guitar and singing. A balloon animal person was telling stories to the kids, and they were loving it. Amazing Farmer's Market. Bring your bags and/or strollers to fill them! Parking is tight, but it's worth coming down.

This is where to come on Sunday morning (9am-1pm) for your veggies and fruit. Most are organic and those that do not advertise are often pesticide free but have not gone through the certification. The variety here is fantastic, especially if you're looking for Asian vegetables (so many greens to choose from). This market is year round, rain or shine. Parking is really terrible as many come by car. If you come by bike or train, it is so much more manageable (see Stevens Creek Bike Trail). The train is a bonus if you have children as it comes by every so often (not to mention they can see the Light Rail train as well). There are also prepared foods like tofu, gelato, curries, naan, oysters, bread, pastries, tacos, falafels, etc. You will not go home hungry!

Great market on Sundays at the Cal Train Station. The offer a good variety of produce as well I saw fish and meat, which is not common at the markets I normally go to.The also have several booths with flowers.Great place to stop by on a Sunday!

I can't imagine a better farmer's market. The hours are perfect, the free samples are perfecter... There's such a diversity of stands... From flowers to Indian food, bakeries to potatoes and asparagus. And live music! The 'flavor king' pluots just might be the best fruit I've ever tasted, and I'm an authority on the matter, I've eaten so many blueberries my eyes are blue.

Talk about a joyful experience, that's what you'll find strolling the Farmer's Market in Mountain View. It's all about fresh produce but so much more. The atmosphere is alive with people and what they have to sell-- things to eat plus art and entertainment. It's a festival fit for singles, couples, and family-friendly. An outside way to spend a morning. A place to graze and shop and appreciate the wonder of what is growing on God's green earth.

Every Sunday, hundreds of people come to the Mountain View Farmers Market which is held year-round next to the Downtown Train Station. You don't want to miss out on the very best selection of Organic vegetables & fruits, Gluten-Free pastry and breads and a wide assortment of fresh fish, flowers and other home-made sweets and treats. Not to be missed if you are in the South Bay Area on a Sunday!

I kind of hate to add more praises onto this market, because so many people know of its bounty and huge variety of foods. Most vendors give generous samples. You'll find seasonal fruits and veggies in abundance, fresh eggs, nuts, baked goods (incl. bread & non-gluten & vegan), jams, honey, olives & oils, meats (sausages, pork, beef), juices, spices, spreads, coffee, prepared foods (less of these) and to top it off you can find an interesting flavor of ice cream or other frozen dessert. Flowers, plants, orchids, soaps, candles, and the like round out the non-edibles. For the tots there is an area where the smallest kids can order up a balloon made into different characters. There is usually at least one musian strumming his/her guitar. Open every Sunday rain or shine. Bring your own large reusable shopping bags. Street parking as well as lots within a easy walk - even when you are laden with post-shopping goods!

Para quem tem crianças é a pedida. Dá para experimentar os produtos orgânicos, como o morango ultrasaboroso da California. Melhor ainda em dia de sol. Mas vá de manhã! Aproveite para tomar uma mimosa a partir das 10h.
