    去看世界三大男高音多明戈的演唱会,露天剧院满座,音效一点不差,听到了无可挑剔的男高音,另外请了两个女嘉宾歌唱家,也非常给力。停车位很难找,要提前去

The Greek is built into a hillside and access from the upper parking lot is very steep. Try to park in a lot below the Greek, because you have to go to the bottom of the theater to enter, so the lower parking is closer and may not require oxygen!

Fantastic concert venues and location. It's comfortable and casual. But when night falls, the temperature drops off very quickly. Dress warm. layer and/or bring a blanket.

Classic tiered surround seating with good view of the stage. The grass area is very sloped. Recommend the concrete seating, bring a pad or blanket to sit on.

Took my teenager daughter to see Lorde in concert here recently. Parking was ok, we got there early and paid $20 to park in a nearby lot, which I was expecting. Stood in line for about an hour, then went in to the venue with a reasonable check from security. Daughter wanted to go in the pit, uh no Mom's days of goin in the pit are loooooong over! Compromised and sat at the top of the lower section so I could lean against the wall while sitting on the concrete seating. (I had read this advice from someone else's review.) There were several other parents doing the same thing, all nursing sore backs after the first hour. Our chosen spot seemed great until right before the show started when all the late comers kept coming and standing RIGHT in front of us trying to find a spot. Uh, if you show up 5 minutes before the show starts don't think there are any seats left in the front. The crowd of people standing in front of us in what was supposed to be an aisle got to the point where I had to stand up because they were standing on my blanket and about to step on my feet. Grrrr. I went to talk to a venue employee about it and she told me that it was basically a free for all in that area and there was nothing to be done about it. Nice answer! Once the headliner starting playing, a couple of super drunk girls in their 20s came and stood in what was supposed to be an aisle way right front of my daughter - completely blocking her view. Fully embracing the free for all philosophy, I switched spots with her and just kept bumping into them so they would keep scooting over and away from us. I'm sure they didn't ever realize what was happening, and I found it very amusing to watch them stagger around on their super high heels in a concrete amphitheater. They finally had to be carried out by the one guy who was with the group, poor guy! Once they were disposed of, we were good to go for the rest of the show. I'd say to avoid sitting near the stairs if you sit in the lower area, as people tend to crowd that area until it's completely full. The sound in the venue is great, and the weather was warm enough that evening that I never needed the sweater I brought, but I think you should still plan on needing a sweatshirt most nights. The only other challenge was leaving the parking lot I didn't see any real crowd control so it was challenging to get back on the main road from the parking lot with all the pedestrians.Eh, I guess I'd go again, bring a pillow to sit on, and not sit near the stairs.

So many wonderful performers play here. I saw Placido Domingo. The sound was great and everything was easy to see. There are seat prices for everyone. It feels a little special listening to great music in the open air. Go!

We came here from Phx to see Dave Mathews on 8/24/14 based on what we heard about this place. It did not disappoint.i have seen close to 150 concerts and this place has the best sound and seating you can imagine. Everyone should experience at least 1 show here. You will be glad you did. They also have great food and beer.

Amazing acoustics! Show was all General Admission so we got there early and stood in front in the PIT area. This place only holds 8,500 or so. There's not a bad seat to be found! Good good time!

I graduated from high school here, which was quite fun…but the real joy of this place is that of all the concert venues I have ever been in, the Greek Theatre has the best acoustics. I've seen Van Morrison, Todd Rundgren, Peter, Paul & Mary, Roseanne Cash and Lyle Lovett here, and they all sounded utterly amazing. Do yourself a favor and go to a concert here- you will hear the performer(s) like at no other venue.

Great sound, no bad seats but bring something to sit on. Only beer and wine and $9.00 to $11.00 a pop.

This is on the campus of University Berkeley. There is very little parking so get early if you want a space which will cost. Parking is really good for those who are not as mobile as even if you park in downtown Berkeley you have to walk quite a bit to get there. You can be dropped off by taxi or another driver who will park it. The second thing is to bring something to sit on. This is an old beautiful outdoor Greek style theater and the seats are cement without a back. A pillow or a blanket to sit on works well. The seats are first come first served usually. So you may need to get there early and line up if it is someone real special you want to see. But really all the seats are good. The lighting is not very good so using a little flashlight getting out at night is a good idea. Also the cement steps are higher than most steps and no railing. The good thing is that the seats are very wide so you are able to dance in your seat easily and your view is never ruined unless someone is dancing and you are sitting. A fantastic beautiful venue.

This is a great concert venue. If you are in town and have an evening free, you have a beautiful setting in the hills. The weather always seems a little warmer here as well as they have some great food options. You could probably sneak some alcohol in if you are brave.

The Greek Theatre is by far the greatest outdoor theatre for live entertainment. Every seat is good in the tradition of ancient Greek amphitheaters. The acoustics are wonderful. It might help to bring a cushion as the stone gets a little hard after a while, and make sure to layer up for the unpredictable temperatures, but don't miss an opportunity to attend a concert at the Greek.

i've seen many there...good acoustics and the magic of being surrounded by eucalyptus trees...the cheaper seats are uncomfortable. i'd advise bringing a pillow/cushion. stone amphitheatre up in beginnings of the berkeley hills...nothing like it on a warm, summer night...pat metheny...bonnie raitt...dave matthews band...and the night i saw peter gabriel there he didn't need a fog machine...the fog came and sat in the trees and listened...what a night THAT was!enjoy.

I recently took a trip to California to see a 2 night special event show featuring A Perfect Circle and Puscifer, and I right off the bat have to say this is an awesome venue to see a show. Nestled right in some mountains in the park, with really nice lit walkways and tables and chairs just outside the seating areas. The sound for the show was great, and we sat one night in the upper level and one night much closer to the stage and both areas the viewing angles were good and we could see just about everything. But be prepared! It is only really reasonably reachable by car, and you may very well have no cell service once you are there. I know it is easy to just blame one carrier, (I have T-Mobile - I know, not the best service nationally) But there were tons of people complaining about the same thing from different carriers. If you are like me and were relying on a cab to get you in and out of the area, you may end up having to do what me and many others had to do - walk all the way out of the park (took at least 20 minutes) to get out to the main road to wave down a cab.But aside from those minor inconveniences, this place is awesome and totally worth it to see a show.
