This is a fun winery to visit, but if you do not take the gravel drive you miss 3/4 of the fun. The wines are wonderful as well so it is all a wonderful stop when you are in the area. You can visit the tasting room in Murphys but you miss the fun that this winery has with life.

We enjoyed attending several music concerts here. Great people, pretty decent venue (although you're in the dirt) - - - parking very easy & organized. Lots of nice people around to help out - some grass would be nice, but hey, takes too much water to keep it green.

First of all take the dirt road up to the winery instead of the paved road it adds a little more twisted to your visit. Of course everybodys taste in wine is different so for me I liked some of their whites and thought the reds were too dry for me. The view from the winery is fantastic looking east you can still see snow capped mountains in June. Overall experience was fun here.

This was one of the several wineries I visited in the area and provided a good overall experience. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was upbeat and fun. Overall, I thought the quality of the wines was mixed. Some were above average, while others were not all that good. Everyone I spoke to at this winery was in a good mood and having a good time, so definitely 5* for atmosphere, but the wines left a little to be desired.

The fun aspect sets this place apart. But don't be fooled - the wine is spectacular. Mostly warm climate varietals - all good. Join the wine club and get a rubber chicken!

We enjoyed the wines at all of the area wineries we visited, but I think Twisted Oak was probably our favorite!!! All of the wines we sampled were unique, different, delicious and well priced. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, well informed with no pressure to purchase a wine. I love their sense of humor - take the gravel driveway to read the signs or simply visit their website.

When given a choice of which road to take always take the twisted road! What fun we had on the gravel twisted road. Many signs along the way will keep you laughing. Watch out for the rubber chickens! I am not going to give the surprises away, but you will not be disappointed with this ride. The next enjoyment will be Harley who willl greet you and enjoy a little scratch behind his ears. Now you can settle in and enjoy the delicious wines you can taste! You won't leave without a bottle I bet. Walk around the shop and check out the unique items for sale. This is the place to stock up on some unusual bacon flavored items. Once you are done, make sure to look east at the beautiful views. Enjoy!

Don't be thrown by the title! You will understand. As you are driving up the hill towards to winery, you read the most hilarious signs. Next time I go I want to take pictures of them. :). You get to the top and enjoy wine tasting and laughter as you take in and read the signs and gifts available. Unfortunately no signs on the back entrance while leaving. If you dot want to take this epic journey up a twisted lil mountain for tastings, they also have a tasting room in downtown Murphy's for convenience.

They hang chickens here and there, very friendly/fun people. Not sure if it's all family operated but they all seem like family. Nice place, good wine.

Murphys and around is a great place to go wine tasting, and Twisted is in a class nearly by itself. You have two choices on how you arrive to Twisted, and Twisted Road is a must. It is lined with hilarious signs and really gets you in a good mood about the visit (as if the wine wouldn't do that by itself). The quirky gift shop is a hoot to glance around in between sips and the wine is delicious. You can't miss it.

We love to visit Twisted Oak at their scenic, top of the hill, expansive-views winery. Their wine bar is always staffed by friendly servers and because we are "Twisted Few" members, we always look forward to our quarterly allocation of surprise wine from a most ingenuous winemaker. At our latest visit a few days ago over the Thanksgiving week, our son became a "Twisted Freak" member and will now be eligible for their top-end, exclusive wine shipment each quarter. This winery is really special and unique!

My husband, I, and our four legged son decided to stop at Twisted Oak winery on our way to camp in Arnold. We took the “twisted” way up and got a kick out of the signs; potholes are complimentary, slow-adults at play, and many more. We arrived at the winery and were greeted with a smile. I am always so excited when our dog can join us. I called ahead of time to make sure that our well behaved dog can accompany us. We like to enjoy the wine and he likes to sit and enjoy the company! Wine tasting is free and bottles start around $30. Ironically we bought two wine glasses (The etched writing caught our eye) and we bought a “slow-adults at play sign” You will have to visit the winery to fully understand the humorous atmosphere. I would highly recommend this winery. The atmosphere itself is worth seeing.
