Although the course itself is not in that great of shape it's a fun course and very scenic. Price is right and staff is very friendly and accommodating. Just what us average golfers were looking for.

I have played this course a dozen times and I like it better each time I play there. The staff is great, the golf carts are decent, and the course is reasonably well designed. It can be slow on a busy day, but if you play during the week, you can keep up a fast pace. Overall a great bargain for a hidden gem.

This golf course looks and feels very old and tired. The price is too high for the condition of the course and the amenities. No GPS on the golf cart.Go somewhere else.

I was turned off by staff, unwelcoming , tee time delayed and the day I played 5 hour round never again. I will not play course again.

I played today at Twin Oaks in San Marcos. The course has some narrow holes and some that are wide open. It is usually in good shape. Like all JC courses it is overpriced. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I was treated with absolutely no repect from the head pro himself. Other than the customer service the cart staff provided me this one of my worst golf experiences I have ever had and as an avid golfer for the last 20 years that really says something about this establishment

Having played Torrey Poned South course (beautiful ocean scenery but at a high cost for mon residents) I was in see at Twin Oaks for the layout, scenery , and the great price .Would play again without question ,

We tried GolfNow again and found this course. It was a nice layout, challenging at the start and end but with some good holes in between. The course was getting a bit parched, but considering it is Mid September, it was to be expected. I was expecting worse conditions from the other postings. Sometimes I wonder what people expect for their money. The price was acceptable, not fantastic, but reasonable. The greens ran fast (10) and very true. it was hard to believe it didn't break even a bit at times..!! Would play it again. We played it in just over 4 hours as a twosome and with 2 twosomes in front of us...

Beautiful course that hosted the most gorgeous outdoor wedding I have ever seen in my life. Beautiful and breathtaking!

Great Course, perfect condition and the price and people are great. Would play this course anyday over some of the top rated one's in the area

I just love this joint. AM before 7, $30 including cart, same thing for twilight. Rates are typically $20 cheaper than Encinitas Ranch for a nicer layout, tougher holes, nicer course and friendlier staff. It is a muni course, so sometimes the fairways can be dry. I play about every two months there and this winter the course has been in great shape, particularly the greens.Folks at the bar/ restaurant are great, guys at the desk always have a smile as does the starter. During the week we can get a round in in 4 hours.

I have been in SoCal for about a year and honestly, have not been very impressed with most of the golf courses. I thought being in the midst of the golf industry, there would be some incredible courses. Of course Torrey Pines is great but getting on to play can be a chore. I decided to try Twin Oaks on a stranger's recommendation. I found a Thanksgiving day deal for 75$ and the course was pretty much empty. My reservation made it from GolfNow to the pro shop there and they let me play myself. I must say it is a fun course with some diverse holes. As on the of JW management properties, I thought it would be below average like Encinitas Ranch golf course which has great views and nothing else. The greens were good, not super fast but the ball rolled pretty well on most of them. The fairways were very decent and the pace of play was great. I will update my review when I see how they handle the course when it is really busy. There was no starter the day I was there but there wasn't much need for one either. People were generally friendly in the pro shop and the restaurant looked clean and well maintained. This is worth trying if you are looking for a new course in the San Diego north county region. It is nestled in a small communitiy of houses so getting there is not glitch free but try it.

This course is a fun one to play and not too expensive. It is a very nice outing for me and my boys to play;not too loose and not too serious. It's a basic housing-style course, but not simple and lots of out-of-bounds to the right; trust me I know! Overall, a high-quality course that's fun to play.

I played this course weekend of August 22-23. The course looked really nice at first arrival around noon, the staff was pretty nice, but as we started playing, the fairways and greens got worse and worse. I drove many times in the middle of the fairways and the whole fairway was under repair or something, and I was basically sitting in thick rough - In the MIDDLE OF THE FAIRWAY many times! Some greens had lots of decay, made my putts jump all over the place. Don't know if we just came at a bad time such as aeration time or redesigning or something, but we called to ask about the conditions and the shop said "Great!" Then they had a wedding at around 3 and we barely were able to order some hot dogs after much criticizing and hard persuasion, which they had closed the snack bar for the wedding. Nice place, decent people if you talk to the right ones, decent fun holes but condition wasn't there, would love to play it if conditions were nice some other time.

We played this course in late April and had a good time there. The course is challenging but not too difficult and is well kept. The greens and fairways were all in good shape except for one, and that was alright considering that it was early in the season. The price is good, the clubhouse is nice, and the staff are helpful. I recommend Twin Oaks!
