This was the best conditioned course I played in this area, very green and well manicured. We played from the black tees(6400 yds) but found it was a bit too long for us as long par 3 and uphill pae 4 were too long for us. The course is really great,a definite challenge, but next time will play blue tees (5800 yds) good value at 37.50. Facilities very good, did not eat here.

Our Mens Group have been playing Soboba Golf Course every other week for the past two years with guranteed (5) Tee times. Last Thursday, we all arrived and they informed us that they were having a tournament and could not honor our reservations. We had tee times verified and sent to all of us. The challenge was not that they had forgot to inform us, but their defensive attitude. The Pro was emphatic that we never scheduled this time. He was arrogant and took our leader into the office and proceeded to show him a huge binder with contracts etc. He said we had no contract and basically told us to "get lost". Everybody makes mistatkes. Rather then apologize for not informing us that we could not play and attempting to make it right, he proceeded to lose a lot of customers. We have already scheduled other golf courses for the next few months. It is surprising how "utterly stupid" some businesses can be when dealing with the public, especially, when there are 40 to 50 folks that now have a negative experience with Soboba Springs Royal Vista Golf Course. By the way, we were able to schedule tee times, almost immediately, with Hemet Landmark Golf Course.

We have golfed at the Soboba Springs golf course a couple of times in the past and thought that it was excellent value. Unfortunately, our third trip there will be our last. The course was not in good shape (the greens were really bad) and the round was so slow that it was painful. We teed off 35 minutes late and waited on every hole after that. From the time we arrived at the starter's box until the time we finished our round was close to 6 hours. Totally unacceptable and not at all enjoyable. Very poor golf course management so we won't be back and will definitely not recommend the course to friends.

I confess that I do not play myself, but my son in law wishes he could afford to play it more often, I have lived near by for many years. The Soboba Band of Luiseño Indians Purchased the course and spent a long time upgrading it. The Nationwide tour played here this spring if I am not mistaken. Just be aware that the temps here are over 100 in the summer, get an early tee time.

This has to be the worst golf course I have ever played. These guys must think that everyone playing is a profesional golfer. 100 to 150 yards of forced carry on every hole because of the 3-4 inch rough everywhere. A 180 yard par 3 with 3-4 inch rough the entire lenght of the fairway and then the entire front of the green is guarded by bunkers. If you can't stick the green, there is a tiny landing area way off to the left but big trees make hititng that area tough. Not a fun place to play for the average golfer. We had one guy in our group that is a 10 handicapper and he even hated the place because it was so unfair. The price was cheap but I can understand why. Nobody in their right mind would want to play there. If they had a lawn mower that worked, it might be a nice course. NEVER AGAIN

I played the golf course many years ago when it was new. LUSH. FUN.Recently returned fo dinner at the Club House with a friend from Hemet. We were delighted with a nice table in a quiet setting. The menu was small but we were all very pleased with our selections and the accompanying service. We also stopped in at the Soboba Casino nearby. Handy in and out to drop off people as well as return from the area. The layout was huge and the staff was helpful and friendly. My wife claimed to have won a sum in several hours slot play. But since I didn't see any of it, well.....This attraction is a bit hidden from the world, but is handy a short distance south of the I-10 exit at Beaumont, California via Hwy 79.. Golf, dining, casino play are all highly recommended
