Small theater. Owner likes to show foreign films, independent, and some docs. It's local. The price is right. Films you probably won't see on the big screen. Owner operates the establishment and concessions. My one complaint, he doesn't allow any food to be brought in, which I can understand, BUT, he carries very little in the way of candy. He does make each batch of popcorn fresh. Being a Rebel, I of course have to sneak candy in. It's what Johnny Yuma would do. Bottom line: Go for the movies, support independent local business, let your conscious guide you on the candy detail.

It's hard to believe that this little neighborhood has attracted a movie theater! Ross, the proprietor, brings his love of film here to a 38 seat space in downtown Point Richmond. The experience reminds me of the art film theaters that existed in the 60's, 70's and 80's. The theater is open Thursdays through Sundays. Classic films are shown Thursday nights for free--with a hat passed around for donations. There's freshly popped popcorn and a few other treats on sale.
