We enjoyed our visit to La Finquita in December 2014. All of their wines were good, with a focus more on reds. They have a inside tasting room with plenty of counter space, plus some seating. Outside is a nice patio with views of the valley below. They have a wine cave for private parties as well which we were able to view. The patio would be great for a picnic on a warmer day. They have plenty of parking - don't let the drive down (one way for now), keep you away. Their wines are well worth the stop if wine tasting in Ramona. We hit La Finquita, Turtle Rock Ridge (next door), Vineyard Grant James, then Milagro Farms on the way to Julian for dinner and a B&B. This was a fun Saturday, and we'd never been to Ramona wineries (always Temecula). As San Diegans we will be back - and will definitely return to La Finquita (probably our favorite of the day, although we enjoyed all of those listed).
