Always stop here when I'm in Pescadero - everyone should. Wonderful bread, pies, marinades, and much more (plus a nice deli). And the people who work there are always patient and helpful and friendly.

We have stopped here sometimes when we have driven through Pescadero area. Their breads are so good. They also have a nice deli if one wants to put together a last minute picnic to enjoy at one of the local ocean or redwood state parks.

You have to stop in at this Deli if you are in Pescadero. If youre feeling hungry you have to try the garlic artichoke bread. Fresh out of the oven, ots delicious. They have great sandwiches and an assortment of local wines too.

We stopped in after reading reviews from TripAdvisor. The bread was amazing and was fresh baked and still warm when we stopped. Perfect paring with the local Goat Farm Fresh cheese (Harley Farms Goat Dairy). Definitely worth the stop!

Hi, we have loved all the baked goods from this small store/bakery until now (almond croissants, sourdough), and finally tried the specialty artichoke bread. I was not impressed and in fact, both my daughter and I felt a little ill after eating it. Too much garlic? oil? other spices? Not sure what but we won't be getting it again. However, we will be going back for the other bakery items!

Ok, so every 15-minutes or so... come out piping hot freshly made sourdough bread with huge chunks of artichoke and garlic instilled. They had some other nice selections to this near only grocery store in the Pescadero area. We stocked up on provisions for your day outing and figured on picnicking or mezza later in the day.

Stopped here on the way north on Highway 1. Pescadero is only 5 minutes inland and a very small artsy place, certainly worth a stop. Arcangeli is perfect for sandwiches. Try their regulars, you select what bread, meat, cheese and toppings you want (the Facaccia bread is very good with artichoke pieces aked on), or get one of their creative combinations. The sandwich desk is in the very back of the store, and while you wait browse the select offerings on the shelves. Generously propotioned: we shared the sandwich with two and were happy. Definitely will stop back here.

Stopped in for the first time on this visit to Pescadero. We were looking for Olailleberry (sp) jam. They had it, which is fantastic. Had some other really good breads and various baked goods. Worth a stop if your in town.

As the other reviewers say, the bread is amazing. We like the garlic herb. Also the best bear claws ever..large with lots of filling. The chocolate croissants were a little skimpy on the chocolate. We ate lots of the bread and also brought home a partially baked loaf for later. Cinnamon english muffins - skip these.. dry and not english muffins but rather just a roll with some cinnamon inside. Note, these are not the individually sold cinnamon rolls (which we didn't try) but rather the 6 to a pack english muffins. We were camping at Butano state park and had gotten a last minute spot and didn't have two days of food with us so had to shop in Pescadero (I didn't want to drive to safeway in HMB). This is a very expensive. The other option (Pescadero country store actually looks more expensive - since they have renovated it is a small section of the restaurant/bar) but some items were cheaper. So compare!

This is a favorite stop for cyclists, and even though we arrived by car, it did not diminish our appetite for the most wonderful, warm, artichoke garlic herb bread! We sat at a little table in front of the store, in the bright morning sun, and devoured our loaf! The artichoke hearts were baked into the bread and were warm and moist! Details? The loaf was $5.49, supply was rapidly being depleted by the bikers and cyclists, and the cashier handed us some paper towels for our treat! Also, store dates to 1929. Sandwiches were available at the back of the store. We also bought some postcards there, then walked down the street to mail them at the Pescadero PO.
