We love the country club experience. The atmosphere is relaxing with a beautiful view and the food is great and reasonably priced. Only the boys golf on the great courses, but the girls have a wonderful brunch while we wait. This place is nice with great employees without be 'stuffy', like some clubs can be. We take the grandchildren along and they are as welcome as the adults.

This club had two great courses..Ranch and legend courses....both really good and fun to play...due to water issues the Legend course is closed and watering stopped two weeks ago and it is being let die..sad but true. The Ranch Course is playable, but tee to grèen...rock hard due to Lack of wateringDon't make a special trip to play till watering issues are resolved...I love both courses and am very sad at what is happening.Mike

Low rates ($30 - $40) but high quality courses. Each course is routed over rolling foothills, had nice fairways and excellent greens. We hardly saw a ball mark on any green. The views are outstanding!!!!

Both Diablo Grande courses are challenging; especially if its windy. Today was perfect. High 70's, sun, and with the recent rains, the tee boxes, fairways, and greens in outstanding shape. This is truly one of those courses that you do not want to go off the fairway as there really isn't much rough. Clubhouse food is excellent and priced well. Course is a bit pricey if you are from the Central Valley but in line with Bay Area courses of this quality. Okay driving range and practice greens. Folks in clubhouse and course were great.

Played on Halloween. Excellent weather, excellent course and a great foursome. First time under 100 on this course!! One birdie and four pars make for a happy golfer. Only negative was there was no beverage cart that came around. With a 4 1/2 round and an out and back layout there was no beverages or snacks. Last time we played there was, but we figured it was because there were hardly anyone playing. Did not let it ruin the day though. Love this hard course

Diablo Grande has two world class golf courses in a gorgeous canyon setting. Excellent service and a great restaurant complete the package. A great place to spend the day!

In the middle of nowhere, but it's a good layout, brutal to walk however. Driving range isn't great, no shots over 220 yards.

Rates were great and it wasn't crowded. Not too many trees so when it is warm you need to stay hydrated. We had lunch after in the restaurant and it was very good. It feels like a country club but it is a public course....

Played at Diablo Grande on July 4th. There are two courses both look magnificent, we played The Legends course. This Jack Nicklaus designed course is set within a new gated development. The rates are very reasonable for such a course set in lovely countryside, with lots of wildlife. It is a country club with swimming pool and spa. The clubhouse can be hired for private functions. Beautifully appointed overlooking the golf course, which would make a wonderful setting for a wedding or any special occassion. We saw so much wildlife whilst playing, including deer and wild turkeys.

Played here on Friday. $25 for a round with a cart is a superb value. The drive there is picturesque. Arrived about an hour early for my round. After hitting some range balls ($5 extra) and a couple of minutes putting decided to try and get off early. Joined up with a couple of locals. I spent a great deal of time looking for a course to play in the San Fran area. i chose this one due to the price and the fact it looked like the courses I love in the Phoenix area. The course itself is in OK condition. There are hundreds of squirrels and therefore holes all over the place. The course is wide open. You can just grip it and rip it. Not really my favorite (although I was grateful of this a couple of times). Greens were pretty good, but very slow according to my playing partners. I was yearning the Phoenix / Scottsdale experience. But unfortunately it was way below this. (even though I shot an 82)

You do not have to play golf to enjoy this fine establishment, the food is excellent and the service is the best. With the trip to the canyon, beautiful are.

You have to want to golf here to make the drive. Its WAY back in the hills above Patterson, but beautiful once you arrive. Golf is a great value here and both courses offer challenging outings. I like the Legends course better, but would play either on any day of the year.
