Saw people riding Segways on the Embarcadero near Pier 39 in San Francisco and thought it looked fun but crowded. They had to negotiate through foot traffic and stop lights. Then I remembered seeing a Segway sign in Pacifica, so Googled it and called Jim. We rode for two hours along the coast, to the old Pacifica gravel quarry, up and down a steep hill, and had a blast. No crowds, just fantastic views, wildlife, and total fun for the entire family. Even the teenagers loved it. Jim give us a quick demonstration, then we watched a safety video, and then practiced in the parking lot next door. It was hilarious watching everybody floundering at first, but the Segways are easy to master and by the end of the tour we were all "experts." Finished off the day with burgers and fries at Rockin' Rob's Diner next door.Thank you, Jim, for a perfect family outing.

Have always wanted to try this and it is so much fun. It takes a few minutes to get the hang of it but when you do it is fantastic. Loved the trails along the ocean with magnificent views. This is a must do activity!
