We visited this place a few months back, and make sure we visit every Apple season. Nothing beats the fresh pressed Apple cider, my favorite has Cherry flavor added. Took my young grandson here during berry season. We got a U puck basket, my grandson ate the red raspberries faster than we could pick them! I'm sure we got our money's worth. Folks are friendly, lots of Apple and cider samples, a great place for a picnic under the massive oak trees.

I liked the walk in the trails, and the restaurants around. They are working on making real nice trails in the Oak Glen preservation, botanical garden. The place is called Historic Los Rios Rancho. When there is snow its very cold bring your good Jackets.

The traditional country fruit stand atmosphere will be the apple of your eye at Snow-Line in Oak Glen. A well-marked twisty side road beckons kids of all ages to the ageless apple orchards, cider house and "fruit stand" graciously hosted by Merl & Shirley Hudson. Its good to get off the main highway and relax, so take your time and sample the many unusual apple varieties, other seasonal fruits and of course the irresistible warmth of fresh cinnamon mini-doughnuts. I promise you cannot eat just one!We brought home bags of apples for pies, smoothies and salads. The amazing Pink Pearl variety sparks up salad with its bright pink slices that resist turning brown for quite a while. Tart Johnagold apples are perfect for juicing and making apple sauce. Snow-Line also has a new wine - Raspberry Merlot - but it was sold out when we visited in late Sept. Merl & Shirley are colorful and friendly characters who just won't sit still and they still oversee the daily operations of this farm which began in the 1890s. They love to welcome you to Oak Glen and personally greet all the visitors they can and will help you choose the perfect variety of apples for your health and culinary needs. Bottom lIne: Relax, crunch an apple just off the tree and enjoy a step back into yesteryear at Snow-Line. You'll find no bad apples at the Hudson place.

Got to Oak Glen a little late in the day. Most everything was closed on weds. but found Parrish orchards had just closed a minute or two before we got there. We explained that we drove 2 hrs to get there and they were kind enough to let us get our apples and of course their wonderful apple and pumpkin butters, and apple cider. Thank you for your kindness. We will be back.

I like the pick your apple deal, I makes me feel like a farmer, out in the country, maybe how it felt 100 years ago.

We absolutely LOVE their apple cider donuts, they are a must have every year. Their apple cider is also tasty. Very friendly staff, cute store . We have been raspberry picking in years past and loved it. Definitely a must stop when visiting Oak Glen!

Friendly people, beautiful grounds, delicious ciders and those fresh and yummy cider donuts! When we went last time, we were smart to bring ice chests to take back the yummy varieties of cider- cherry/apple, raspberry/apple, etc. Shady spot under huge old trees to drink your cider and made to order little donettes. We didn't pick apples or raspberries that day but say woodpeckers and some really pretty trees.
