This is a not to be missed stop when in the Mother Lode area. Murphys is full of lovely boutique shops.tasting rooms, great dining. Additional wineries are located just outside Murphys and Jackson. If you have only a bit of time to enjoy the historic town of Murphys, do not pass this tasting room up! The staff/owners are very friendly and knowledgeable and every one of the reds we tasted were outstanding! They are a 4th generation Murphys family and bottle around 3,000 special wines annually. The Cab is exceptional. They offer private wine tastings with a fantastic food pairing for only $15 per person. We had such a great time at our private tasting we would recommend it to all and we will do it again in the near future!
