This is more of a free carnival or small fair event. Typical art and craft stuff (you know tye dyed tops, dress, hats and sunglasses, knick knack stuff) you see at any fair along with all those vendors trying to get you to install windows and Jacuzzis. As for food again typical carnival type food with a few specialty items. The best thing here is the free music. If you live nearby I would definitely recommend it to drop in get a beer and maybe some fries and chill out for a few hours listening to the music. Other than that, skip it and try the Gilroy Garlic festival while it cost to park and get in, at least you have a ton of themed food items to choose from.

My grand kids live in Gilroy, my being from Arizona I can't make it as often as I wish to. I usually plan my trip during the big Garlic Festival in July... Last year I was unable to make it in July . Although we missed the Garlic Festival, we attended the Mushroom Mardis Gras and I must say enjoyed it a lot. A much smaller venue but just as enjoyable, great food and entertainment... I suggest it highly...
