mchenry bowl

I'm not a bowler, but in Modesto there don't seem to be a lot of rated attractions, so we went to McHenry Bowl on a Sunday nite. With the automated score cards all you have to do is put on your bowling shoes and grab a ball and roll it! We were happy to find out that bumpers can be activated for only one player on the lane, if needed - I went with a league bowler and she didn't need the help, but if not for bumpers I would not have scored at all. Good music kept us moving, and good people watching. I would go back, we had a fun time.
