Went to do a bit of antiquing, and while the shops were interesting, with eclectic inventory, many closed at 4 pm. Nice little street, quite walkable, free parking while we were there. Bring money, support these merchants.

Cute street with lotes of fun shops. If you are into antiquing, this is your place. Fun way to spend an afternoon relaxing and browsing.

Court Street in Jackson is part of the original layout of the town, begining about 1860. You can walk it as part of the historic walking tour of the old downtown. The street, like all the streets in this part of town, is quite narrow but does allow cars.St. Patrick's Church is on Court Street as well as the Native Sons' Hall. Both were built after the disastrous fire of 1862. The law office, built in 1860, was brick and it survived the fire - thus saving records of the very early history of the town.It is interesting to wander amongst the rustic old buildings.

Jacksonは昔金鉱があったところで、昔の面影を残したとおりです。個人商店が多いせいか、洋服などもちょっと個性があるものが多く、サクラメントあたりから買い物に来る人も入るようです。
