Great selection. Very helpful and friendly. Located right next to our hotel. Gave us a map of the bike path sites with mileage. Liked that the locks were attached to the bike. Easy rental and liked that you could pay after you used the bikes because we really had no idea how long we wanted the bikes for at first.

We rented cruiser bikes to ride the Strand. Prices were good, service friendly and bikes solid and well maintained. Rode Hermosa to Venice - great way to see this part of SoCal.

We were staying in Anaheim for 5 days, with a couple of those set aside for Disney. On one of our spare days there, we decided to rent bikes and ride along the Strand. It seemed like the best starting point for us was Hermosa Beach. and the Hermosa Cyclery was where we rented our bikes from. We were taking our 11 and 13 year olds with us and thought 4 cruisers would be best. After telling the People at Hermosa Cyclery our plan to ride as far as we could, in a day, they suggested that we go for 2 tandem bikes instead of 4 solo cruisers. We did, and we were glad we did. We rode all the way to Santa Monica and back. That took close to 4 and half hours, and there was no way the kids would have been able to do that on their own. The Strand is a fairly easy ride but it is long, had a few hills, and it can be windy. It was a great way to see loads of the beaches along the way, and sweat off some of those holiday beers.You can park your car for the day right beside the bike shop in an elevated parking garage. Take quarters for the meter. It costs about $10 for the entire day.The staff at Hermosa Cyclery were super helpful and even gave us a locals rate. It was about $80 for two tandems for the entire day including helmets for the kids and locks.

Professional service, great selection of bikes and tandems. Cheaper and better than Perrys of Santa Monica.

The guys here are nice and they don't nickle and dime you or try to over sell products in my experience. Just what I needed. I love the free air pump to fill your tires to the desired pressure. It may not have a huge selection of bikes but they have everything else!!

I didn't rent a bike here, but they helped me out when I needed a new tube and tire for my own bicycle. The people are super friendly and very helpful. The prices are high compared to home, but to be expected in a tourist area. The Strand bike path is amazing! We rode it daily for a week. It does get crowded, so walk your bike where it says to or you will be ticketed. As a dog owner, I appreciate that dogs are allowed on The Strand. It is unfortunate, though, that some people don't pick up their pet's poop. Really frustrating and happened frequently.

They changed 2 bikes to make sure they were the right ones and made sure we had locks so we could stop to take a break during our ride.

An activity off my bucket list - a bike trip along the Pacific Ocean. Hermosa Cyclery was my choice for renting a bike. Couldn't decide between a hybrid or road bike - chose the hybrid because of the lower rental rate. In hindsight, I will rent the road bike next time. Hermosa Cyclery rates are competitive and customer service was great! Their bikes get alot of rental time, but are well-serviced. My rental did not have a water bottle holder. I will definitely rent a bike from Hermosa Cyclery the next time I visit the area!

We hired two hybrids for a ride down to Santa Monica pier, the service was quick and straightforward. The bikes were comfortable and relatively smooth gear changes, although they looked a little on the battered side - we felt the price was a bit on the higher side ($36 USD/each) for the quality of the bikes, however research around the area shows this is in line with other competitor's prices. Plenty of water fountains along the way and good riding paths.

Peddle up and down the Strand on a nice bike for low hourly rates. Quick and efficient service - in-and-out. Keep your eye in the wind direction - have it at your back on your return leg.
