Thank you for taking the time to write a review. The whimsical "Official Center of the World" is based on a children's book. Amused Supervisors of Imperial County passed a law establishing the site at Felicity. This property law was officially recognized four years later by the Government of France in accordance with international law.As you noticed, the Museum of History in Granite engraves serious history indeed.We should better explain the difference between whimsy and scholarship.You are always welcome at Felicity.Kind regards,

Thank you for your nice review. Yes we do need to print a guide to the monuments, and suggested itineraries according to interest in periods of history. We await eagerly your production on PBS TV.A correction: The museum is open year round. Tours and Museum store open during four winter months. Remaining eight months, the museum is on the Honor System. And we have been delighted to find so many honorable persons.With all best wishes

Thank you for taking the time to write. We plead guilty if we failed to clarify the 30 year old whimsical concept "Center of the World" which is based on a children's book and explained in the 7 minute video seen by all visitors. It is totally separate from the serious Museum of History in Granite, which by the way is not free. A large sign at the entrance states the fee is three dollars.We thank you for pointing out that we must review how the tour is presented,and hope to welcome you back in the future.
