We visited Myrtle Creek Botanical Gardens and Nursery with friends. We took a pleasant stroll in the gardens and looked at the old farm equipment, plants and other displays. We also enjoyed a very good lunch at the cafe.

We luv this place! My girlfriends and I made a day of it last month and had the best time making fairy gardens. The Café has yummy fresh organic wraps and I love the strawberry salad. I’ve been back for lunch at least once a week and I love the pie – I took one home and my family loved it too. I like just walking the grounds. It’s so beautiful and relaxing. This is my new favorite place! Oh, and their gift shop is amazing too! You won’t be able to resist.

It was cool. I mean that, almost cold. March 4, 2015. Check out the artwork for sale and the plants. Skip the pie. It was dry as a bone. Nice people. People were buying a lot of plants and that speaks well for a nursery

This is a nursery that is a little made up for nostalgia. The food consists of fast-food brought in ready packaged from some place. They also have a (one kind) of pie that is ok. It is a poor excuse for an entertaining place. I have tried it a few times to buy plants, I have given up I would not even recommend it as a plain plant nursery.

Not only the location is breathtaking but the employees are heartwarming and friendly. They have a cafe and a shop with unique products.Don't forget to check out their events, which is also great to spend some time with your family. We will go back soon to sit back and relax.A hidden secret that needs to be known to the public.Stephanie and Mike

I was in town for a wedding and looking for something to do with my daughter and we found this hidden gem. It appeared to be a nursery but as we explored realized it was a destination with a nursery at its entrance! Something new and unique around every corner! We came to buy a gift and ended up staying for hours! You MUST get a picnic basket, grab a planet and find a spot under a tree and enjoy locally grown ingredients in salads and sandwiches and leave room for the PIE!!! The people are as friendly as they come and the farm has such beauty! Make sure to add this to your itinerary as you plan your day in Fallbrook or the surrounding areas!

This destination nursery offers numerous attractions from plants and botanical rarities, to a small cafe where you can purchase pre-made sandwiches and sit on the terrace for lunch.Great gift shop, too! Check out their website to find out the latest activities.

Myrtle Creek used to be a great place to visit but then gradually started to decline. New management was put in place last year though and now it's off the charts. Whenever we have friends come to town now this is one of the must see places. The cafe for lunch on the patio is great but you must have their homemade berry pie!

The weather was unseasonably cool for California but the welcome at Myrtle Creek Nusery was warm. We met a knowledgeable guy who spent time telling us about the Nusery and the area and suggested we visited the cafe for Myrtleberry pie and coffee. We took him up on his suggestion as there was a log fire burning in the cafe. The pie was delicious filled with blackberries, blueberries and boysenberries with the lightest of pastry. We viewed the old Plantation house which was undergoing renovations and Ian delighted in finding old tractors hidden under trees and undergrowth. The quirky shop was filled with Myrtle Creek products both for eating and using as cosmetics. It also had lots of unusual handmade gifts in attractive displays. We visited the Wild Bird sanctuary and petted the goats. A interesting visit.

In the heart of fallbrook you will find this beautiful garden where you can find pieces to make your own garden just as beautiful. Not only that but they have amazing pies and a great spot to have lunch. Upon arrival we were greeted and shown to the antique shop that has so many pretty trinkets to keep your eyes amazed for hours. I am so happy we found this spot. Great place for a date or to just shop around.

May be it was not the best time to look at plants but this nursery is more about garden decoration. Not worth the detour if you are a tourist and wants to see Californian plants.

This place is awesome and inspiring. If I lived around here, I would be here all the time, getting ideas and buying plants.

If you can visit during the Christmas holidays you get an extra treat. If you miss that visit anyway. The photo ops are endless. Beautiful and historic grounds with ponds, barns, waterfalls, shops, café. If you are looking for ideas for the yard or garden you will find them here. The shop has great gift and decorating items all year.

We were so pleased with the beautiful surroundings that was created by Myrtle Creek. The Fall decorations and staff were so awesome and we had the honor of working with Kent to guide us in the details to make the event a success. The surroundings helped all of us to relax and just have fun with the camera. We were able to capture some wonderful pictures and will share them with Myrtle Creek. There is also a little cafe that is just exquisite with awesome organic food. Make sure you have the pie as well. Thanks to all at Myrtle Creek for a wonderful visit.
