We visited this winery for the first time this weekend but I can say for certain that it will not be the last visit we make! Its a small winery with a very laid back feel. The tasting room is welcoming and everyone we met was friendly. We enjoyed every single wine we tasted and even joined their club. We had come to use a Groupon that included a tour which we enjoyed very much. We learned a bit and found a new favorite winery to include on our future trips! This was our first time tasting wine in Fair Play, usually we just stick to Amador County. But this winery was definitely worth the additional 15 minute drive from Amador County. We're already planning our next visit!

Great Winery to visit. Had a wonderful fun time tasting all of their delicious wines. Bought a case and can't wait to have friends over for a "taste"

Another great winery on the "loop" in Fair Play. Definitely a must stop when tasting and / or buying wine in that area. We never miss it on our trips over to the foothills. The general area is about 15 miles from Placerville, CA, so it is easy to reach.

Wouldn't miss this winery when we go wine tasting in that direction. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful...the wine is good as well. Well worth the drive.

Went to the event, 'The Hunt For Zin Man', at Perry Creek. Wine, dinner, music, more wine tasting while hiking through the vineyards under a full moon. Then back to the tasting room for Port and brownies. Super fun!

Good wines, and if you go during one of the events, you'll have a fun time like Octoberfest where they have German food and an umpha band. Worth the drive.

I took my mom for the 2012 Mother's day festival! What a good time, they had polka music, tasty food and lots of fun!We had a great time, enjoyed the food and wine, and had a blast with the music and festivities. They are very hospitible and are a lot of fun. The owners and wine makers are always there mingling and enjoying the customers as well, it makes a really relaxed feeling and lots of info on their wines!

Had to stop at this winery as my husband's name is Perry. Had great wine and we even bought a few bottles. This was one of the bigger wineries in the area and they offer tours if you call ahead.

Beautiful location, excellent wine. Also one of the "homes for the annual PVFA Crab Banquets. Good gift shop with fair prices on their wines.

This was our first stop on our private tour with SW&NLT and the most well known and distributed. They are known for their Zinman - but what we loved was their Petite Sirah. The pourer we had was fun and knowledgeable. No fees for this winery. They also have a good selection of olive oils and flavored vinegars to taste. Pleasant environment - has a shaded picnic area.

After spending the weekend at Fairplay, I have decided that Perry Creek is the best family owned winery I have ever been to. I enjoyed the European feel and taste at Perry Creek. The employees were exceptionally friendly and spirited. I particularly enjoyed the new flavor of the wine. I am very excited to return to Perry Creek this spring.-Inga
