My wife and I had dinner at the golf course restaurant. The food was good and the atmosphere ok. We enjoyed the evening and would return.

This is one of the best golf courses to play. It is in a very nice, well cared for housing area as well as having some fabulous views to the mountains in the distance. Well worth the drive to Angels Camp for a day or better yet a round of golf, good dinner, spend the night in the area and get another round in if you have time. They've been able to keep the course in very good shape in spite of this terrible drought we're having in CA.

Good golf, great condition. No beverage cart on course. No water until 14th hole be prepared. A bit pricy but worth the experiance

I've played this course 3 times and really enjoyed the experience each time. Course conditions were very good and I'm looking forward to my return.

We just finished 2 days of golf at Green Horn with friends. The course is in great condition and in October the weather was perfect. Camps restaurant was a very pleasant surprise...excellent entrees and reasonable prices. All of the staff was very friendly. If you golf, come stay and play.

Greenhorn Creek is a wonderful Community. The homes are unique and the residents are friendly. There's golf for those who enjoy it and it's close to summer boating and fishing at New Melones Reservoir. In the winter the ski resort at Bear Valley is about 35 miles away. There are many shops and restaurants in the area. Calaveras Big Trees State Park is also nearby.

Great ambiance and awesome food. Loved the decor, the staff was amazing and super friendly. Food was delicious, well prepared and very enjoyable. The service was amazing and we enjoyed live music during our dessert. Would highly recommend this place. Loved it.

We stayed at the Greenhorn Creek resort in Angels Camp during a family reunion. The condo we had was perfect. Kitchen was fully stocked with cooking gear - and we used it in prep for the family party. Check in was quick and easy. If I had one negative thing to say about this stay, it would be the hard sell we received when trying to pick up our parking permit. The guy didn't seem to get that we weren't interested in buying a time share - even after I said I wasn't interested and just wanted to get my parking permit.

We stayed in a suite (part of a cottage). Very nicely decorated. Fridge and microwave came in handy. Quiet neighborhood. 2 nice big pools. Loved it, wish we had planned to stay longer. Look forward to dining the clubhouse next time.

The restaurant is awesome and the food great. Golfing was o.k. but I am not a golfer. Everyone that was a golfer seemed to have a great time

I got our tee time through GolfNow for $40. Well worth the price & more. They received brand new carts today & therefore, no GPS. I have a range finder & used it a lot. Plenty of holes where a driver is not needed off the tee. The personnel in the Pro Shop were great. Very courteous & helpful. Great start to the round. The practice facility is nice, but you hit from mats. Easy to see why since it is a smaller driving range. Range balls were old & a few were damaged. they need replacing. Course conditions were great! Tee boxes were level & well manicured. Fairways were perfect. The greens were in very good condition but were a little slow. But, they rolled consistently & were easy to read. Many were two tiered & challenging. The layout is difficult the first time out with no GPS as there are several blind tee shots & dog legs. Would have been better course management if we had the GPS.The landscaping is fantastic & gorgeous homes are in abundance flanking the course. I loved the view from one of the par 3's that looks out to Lake New Mellones. Very elevated tee box. Sweet. No beverage cart, but easy to obtain beverages or snacks beforehand or at the turn. I understand the restaurant has a great rating & serves the best steak in the area.Overall, this is a "must play" course if you are in the area

Stop by this great golf resort if you're headed up Hwy 4 into the gold country. Good food, golf and friendly people. Well worth the drive!

It has been a while, but the only thing I remember is that the greens were a funny color and were not in good shape... Maybe things have changed
