I was in Grand Island in early May when my daughter had delivered her baby. Not wanting to watch the little one sleep, I headed out to Jackrabbit Golf course. The golf pro put me in with a threesome that was just ready to tee off. The course is in great condition. Large greens and well manicured fairways. The rough is like blue grass that is cut to about 4-5 inches and it is very thick. The approach to the greens is also mowed longer than I was used to. You need to hit your shots so that they go onto the green rather than expecting them to run unto the green. The pro shop has lot of golf equipment and the 'snack shop' was large and clean with a good variety. I certainly would go again if I were in or near Grand Island, NE.
