We did the hour & fifteen minute drive from Vegas. The course is very well maintained. Greens were tough & slower than one would think. Almost every hole is picture worthy & we took lots of photos.Marshals were out in full force which I like. It has its challenges throughout & I think it's a must play. The price is in line with Pelican Hill, Trump but not as bad Shadow Creek but all are on the must play list.

This golf course is a tribute to human ingenuity over common sense. It's just simply surreal to stand on some of the elevated tee boxes and look at the ribbons of green winding through the desert. Yes, they actually built this. And for a little over $100 you can experience it, so just go and do it.It's not pure golf, as may be found in other Vegas area courses such as Paiute; it's Vegas 'build it because you can' showmanship golf, but still great fun to play.Club, staff, food were fine, but almost irrelevant beside the course layout. If I'm ever in Vegas or near Mesquite again I'll definitely go back to Wolf Creek.

I've now played here twice, in November 2013 and February 2015. This is one of the most fun, tough, but ultimately fair courses I have ever played and well-worth the drive to Mesquite even if you're staying in Vegas. One of the people in my group described Wolf Creek as a golf course designed by a designer on acid. And he's not that far off. But so much fun. That I've made two good tee shots on the signature par 3 8th hole probably helps.Easily in my top 5 favourite courses (a list that would include Chambers Bay, Bandon Dunes and Old MacDonald). If you're going to Vegas to golf, drive to Mesquite and play here.

You have to see this course to believe it. Holes are nestled among steep canyons. The cart paths between holes are so steep and curvy that you have to sign a waiver to drive a cart here. The course is beautifully maintained and the staff is really friendly. The different tees are suggested by handicap, not age and gender. You may have more fun if you choose one of the forward tees. And bring extra balls, because you aren't allowed to retrieve them from the desert habitat which is riddled with balls of those who came before you.

If you're a golfer in Las Vegas and don't make the drive to Mesquite than you've wasted your trip. This course is amazing and I will cone back every time I'm in Vegas. Worth every penny. The views are breathe taking. Make sure to bring a camera.

If u r a golfer, u must check out wolf creek in mesquite. I have played some of the best and this course is extraordinary. The layout is superb (prepare to move up a tee box!) the condition was excellent, really unique and out of this world. The greens were beautiful, but too slow (rolling around an 8) but that was my only complaint. Otherwise this course is easily one of the top 10 public courses anywhere. I stuck around for a replay that day which I highly recommend as the course can be a bit daunting with some of the blind shots/yardage and the second round was even better than the first. Just plain wonderful.

This is a 5 star golf course, with 4 star prices, located in the middle of the high desert.Bring plenty of golf balls and your personal best camera. It is in great shape with a pro shop and after golf bar as well. The staff treated us well and were very well trained. Will go there again when in the area

What a gem of a course. Absolutely stunning vistas. The contrast between the emerald fairways against the deep blue sky and the rich golden hue of the surrounding sands yields one of the most picturesque settings we have ever golfed. Despite paying standard rates, both my wife and I found the cost and the drive from Vegas to be totally worth the time, trouble and expense. It isn't simply the unforgettable scenery. The course itself is immaculate and well tended. It's a difficult course, but very fair. My wife is a beginning golfer and yet found the experience rewarding. No gimmicky bunkers placed in landing zones just to be mean, or pointless water hazards placed at nonsensical distances. There are forced carries, but that's because it's a ravine course that winds its way among canyons and crevasses. Overall, risk is paired with rewards, and sacrificing a shot for safety means true safety (and not just another pot bunker placed in the shorter landing zone). I feared a pretty enough course that would turn out to be nothing but target golf, but it's actually a very playable course with a set of forward tees that takes most forced carries out of the picture. Consequently, it's beginner friendly, despite its high slope rating.Make no mistake, it's not an easy course. It requires accuracy and nerve. But it's fair and rewards intelligent play, which makes it so refreshingly different from the recent trend in "championship" courses that are just mindlessly and pointlessly "challenging".We will definitely play this course again when we are next in the Vegas area.

All I can say is, if you're only going to play one more round of golf in your life, you want it to be here.I'm from Canada and I've already been back after playing there in December. Check out their website.

A great friend and I took the 45 minute drive from the Las Vegas Strip to go play this course one March afternoon. We had played the course previously on the Tiger Woods video game and I always thought it was a fake course made for the game. TO our surprise it was real and only a short drive from the strip. The course was in great shape. The views and elevation changes were very enjoyable to play and I feel the experience is suited for all skill levels. I am a club pro and the other golfer is a 15 handicap. We both really enjoyed the experience. I am heading to vegas again this year and will definitely bring my group back to play.

The course is over rated, conditions are not the best and the greens are slow. It may have great views but so do many other courses in the area. Check out conestoga, falcon ridge, coyote springs, sand hollow....all better courses, way better prices and much better customer service. If you are looking for an expensive course where the management are more interested in your $$$ then providing a great golf experience..... this is the course to check out!!!

Great Fair Course. It rained when we were there, causing us to slide down some of the steep cartway paths. This extra weather problem created a thrilled packed afternoon of Golf. This was one roller coaster ride where once was enough. Spectacular views from many tees and nice firm even fairways. We ate in the club house where the food was great too!

Views, shots that cannot be described. It lived up to the hype.NOTE: Lots of the course is cart path. Bring your rangefinder, and take 3 clubs to your ball. It will speed things up.

This particular restaurant over looks the golf course. The food and service have always been excellent. Therefore, this individual highly recommends anyone and everyone that reads "Trip Advisory" posts. To go and give this particular restaurant a try. You will not be disappointed.

The only down side if you can call it that is the views, SPECTACULAR and that does not do it justice, you may need oxygen on the 2nd Tee, once you have played it you will know what i mean
