Recently I attended a concert with a friend. We sat in the Orchestra section, aisle U, seats 302 and 303. These seats were excellent. A parking structure was connected to the center. The staff in the parking area were informative and helpful and it was easy to find our way to the Center. Once inside the center it was a little confusing to find out where to line up but not extremely so. The center is beautifully decorated and the seats comfortable with enough leg room. I highly recommend the Hult Center as a place to enjoy the scheduled events.

Thank you so much for your feedback. It's great to hear you enjoy the events we host! We're so sorry to hear that the seating did not meet your expectations last weekend. Our ushers work hard to mitigate late arrivals, but sometimes they slip through the cracks and we do offer our sincerest apologies for that. Not every seat in the house is the same; some have more legroom and there are three different seat widths and even seats with drop arms. Our box office staff has all the knowledge and tips about this. If you ever have questions about the best seats for the sights and sounds of a particular performance or which part of the hall might be most comfortable for you. Don't be afraid to speak up or make a request--it's our pleasure to serve! We hope you join us again for a future event, and if you do, please stop by or call the box office at 541-682-5000 so we can recommend the perfect seats for you.

Both the Silva and Soreng theaters have wonderful acoustics. There really isn't a bad seat in either venue. They offer a variety of entertainment. They have an opera company, a symphony, a ballet, an acting company, etc. They also hold local entertainment such as Dames; Divas and Damsels, as well as local school performances. I have seen international performers at the Soreng, such as the late Robin Williams, Iztak Perlman, Winton Marsalles, K. D. Lang, etc. They do charge for parking so be prepared. There are a number of restaurants nearby. Also, check out Jacob's gallery in their basement- the artwork is great.

We are frequent visitors at Hult for the very good Eugene Symphony and Eugene Opera and some other attractions. But avoid the box seats and they are painfully short on leg room. Stay with the Orchestra section etc for a more comfortable experience in this venue.

Thanks so much for your kind words!

Great acoustics in the beautiful Silva auditorium. Only drawback is seating. You don't want to sit in the balcony if you suffer from vertigo. Any other sections are fine. The smaller Soreng theater is more intimate and very nice. Hult also has a nice gallery in the basement where different types of artwork are on display. Currently local artist Barbara Kensler's Stick Art and some others' work are on exhibit. I recommend going to the Hult.

This is Eugene - not New York or Paris...but you know, we still do pretty good. My mom and I try to see at least two shows a year and so far, the ones we have been able to see have been just wonderful. I do like the Hult Center. It is a little dated in some ways, but in other ways, very inviting and easy to get around. My only complaint is how close chairs are to the backs of other chairs. Why people why? I get that you are trying to make money, but at this point, if I can't get a seat in a specific area for a show, I will not go. I am not going to sit, afraid to move for 2+ hours because my knees are going to bash the seat in front of me, or worry my elbow is going to skewer the person beside me. If they could manage to eek out just a bit more personal space for attendees I would give this place a GREAT...but I am not going to hold my breath waiting for that to happen. If you have never been, you should give it a try if there is a show you want to see, or music you want to hear. It is not as overwhelming as things like this can be in other locations.

This is really a wonderful venue. We have been going here for years. There is so much here to take advantage of and very convenient to Roseburg. As another reviewer mentioned, there is hardly a bad seat in the house. Get on the mailing list now and start scheduling your year of events.

Lovely venue for concerts and performances. Have never had a bad seat and have always enjoyed each experience. The acoustics are good and the seating is comfortable. Staff has always been helpful and courteous. We have found the selection of performances to be varied enough to hold our interest and look forward to the next ones!

this is a well made modern performance hall with additional small performance spaces right in downtown Eugene. The seating is comfortable.

Hult center is a great venue for classical music. We heard Verdi's Requiem for the finale of the Oregon Bach Festival. It was an amazing concert with 3 choirs, a large orchestra and sound that filled the arena.

My husband and I have attended several concerts at the Hult Center. On every occasion, we were happy with our seats, even if they were located further away from the stage. The facility is very nice and each theater offers its own design and staging. It seems the Hult Center always has good shows to go to. It's a great time to get dressed up or go casual.

This building is a sterling example of what Pacific NW architecture is all about: a well-orchestrated blending of wood, glass, and concrete. The soaring lobby is one of the state's most beautiful indoor spaces. Best of all, the two auditoriums are perfectly suited to their function: seats are properly aligned to the stages so even the "nosebleeds" get a good view; the acoustics are wonderful; years ago, in the main hall, I heard Kathleen Battle: I was far up on the third tier, I heard her very clearly. Visit the lobby if for no other reason than to experience the space.

What a wonderful facility for a wedding reception! Next to the Hilton on one side and parking on the other side. For anyone staying at the hilton, it is an easy walk. A beautiful facility with very friendly staff to help you find your way.

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave your review! While we completely understand your frustrations, we can't really address your comments on the performance, (that portion of the review would be more appropriate for Eugene Ballet Company) but we can talk a little about seats. You are absolutely right that different seats have different advantages and disadvantages. Seats with views into the backstage area, with limited legroom or partially blocked views are often in one of the less expensive ticket ranges. If you are unsure about your seats, our Ticket Office staff are very knowledgeable and can give you information about best available seats before you buy. The Ticket Office can be reached at 541-682-5000.Thank you again for leaving your review!
