We not impressed this visit. My wife was limited to tasting only 4 wines for $5, and the lady presenting the wines felt it more important to reply to a text than take care of the customer.

How fun! Owners are friendly and the tasting room and the view is fabulous, so is the wine! So there is a tasting fee. I don't blame them. We've been to enough wineries to know that people will stand and drink all afternoon, then turn and walk out the door. If you buy wine, the tasting fee is waived. We bought a case. We had no problem buying a case with choices we had. Fort Dalles Red and the Merlot are wonderful. So is the Chardonnay. We highly recommend the drive through the cherry orchards of The Dalles to find this great winery!

Almost 4 miles drive south of The Dalles, high on the hill with excellent views, is this winery. The drive is through some of the best cherry groves in Oregon. The tasting room is separate from the wine production area. The wines were very good, but I'm not a fan of a tasting fee (even if it is waived if you purchase a bottle). In all, you shouldn't miss this winery.
