la pinata mexican restaurant and lounge

Met some other folks here, they have ate here before, but this was a first time for me. 3 people at the table had the prime rib special, I had the enchilada with a taco. I ordered a beer, everyone but me got their beer, I had to ask another 3 times for my draft beer, I asked for the taco truck style taco, they do not have a clue as to the proper way to do it and it tasted like packaged seasoning in it, the enchilada was coated in a orange colored sauce that tasted a lot like Campbells tomato soup, rice was crunchy and devoid of flavor and the refried beans, well not so good. I did not even finish my meal. The food server who I think may even be the owner was not so great either. I won't ever eat here again, that is for sure, and it had a dirty feel to it and bathrooms, not so great.

You can get good Mexican food, steaks, burgers or a big salad. Sandy is fast and always in a good mood!

We have made this a new tradition while traveling to the coast. cant beat the baseball theme Mexican atmosphere. love the mac & Cheese!
