Honestly I for the first had no shame in openly complaining about this incident while we were still there. We had a great waitress. She was very attentive and sweet. Our business group of 10+ people were having a good time. We started flicking paper balls around and shooting them into each other's beers. A mess that was easy for us to clean up. The bartender came over and said "I hope everyone has a good night tonight. Enjoy yourselves and DONT tear up our menus, bye!" And immediately walked away. We looked down to see that some people had in fact started tearing up a one sided "feature" menu. However there is a way to go about saying things, especially in the customer service business. Being rude like that and using the tone he did was NOT the right way. And once you do the math it makes even less sense. You decide to be rude to a group that is paying you WELL over $200 plus whatever tips are given in defense of a piece of paper you probably printed off at Kinko's that cost all of maybe $0.50 cents. I run a business myself and that is not at all the way to go about things. Pick your battles. We were wasting sugar too but he must not have noticed or he might have kicked us out.I hands down will not be going back and if I ever do go again against my will, I'll make sure that I tear more stuff up. If you don't want something destroyed then you should probably laminate it as you did the actual food menus.
