My wife, 2 grandchildren, and I, visited the Woody Guthrie Center during the Beatles special exhibit. For two adults and two children, we were charged $28. While Woody Guthrie is somewhat interesting, having an entire center devoted to him reeks of trying to find cultural significance in the America. Unless you are doing research on Woody Guthrie, the $8 admission is too high for what is here. Other than playing with the technology, the kids were bored. The Beatles special exhibit was decent, but you have to be into the Beatles to enjoy it (which I do).The guy working at the admission area was very nice.I do not plan to return. If I ever have a Woody Guthrie question that is burning in my mind, I will Google it.

Learned so much more about Woody Guthrie and his peers, the times, and Oklahoma in general. An added perk was the Bruce Springsteen photo exhibit. Highly recommend this stop as it also lead us to a great part of town to shop and eat.

Had to admit I didn't know who Woody Guthrie was though I had heard his best known song. Is was a great place to visit, lots to see and listen too though some of the info audio left me slightly confused as to timeline. Great exhibition of photos of Springsteen at the time we were there -not sure if this was permanent or not. Not to be missed.

I never heard of Woody Guthrie, but i have heard the popular song. The guy at reception was so enthusiastic you couldn't help but get excited to see what was inside. watching the movie about him really told you allot about him.

The museum had a lot of Guthrie memorabilia and was very informative about Mr. Guthrie. They had photos, guitars, notebooks and many other pieces on display. They also had a number of recording stations where you could listen to music performed by Woody and other artists performing his works. In the center of the museum there is a round area dedicated to his song This Land Is Your Land that has listening stations where you can hear a lot of different artists performing this classic. In addition, while we were there, the museum was presenting a photo exhibit of photos taken of Bruce Springsteen at different time of his career - including some taken by his sister.Overall, the Woody Guthrie Center is a great place to spend a couple of hours.

We went here not knowing what to expect. We were blown away! It is very high tech and has a lot of very cool interactive exhibits. It has all kinds of artifacts from Woody's life. If you like Bob Dylan, there is a lot of his stuff here to. A must if in Tulsa!

Do you want to see the original copy of "This land is your land"? If so be sure to visit the Guthrie Center. Recommend it to all that have an affection for Woody and his music.

I have heard his music in movies, but was totally ignorant in knowing anything about his personal life. It was fascinating to learn about his passion to help the common man and his talent in political cartooning. The center provide great insight into his life. A must visit in Tulsa!

Couldn't wait to get here and it was even better than I'd hoped. Learned so much about this American icon. Loved all the headphone music choices and informative tributes and tidbits about his life, influence, talents, and music.
