University Circle is the best place in Cleveland to spend a day or a whole weekend. There is so much to see and do. The fabulous Cleveland Museum of Art has FREE admission all the time. It is one of the only art museums in the country to not charge a fee to get in. The exhibits are first-rate and rival the art museums in Chicago and New York. If your taste runs to modern art, there is also MOCA, the Museum of Contemporary Art, in the same area, but they charge an admission fee. The Botanical Gardens, The HIstorical Museum and the Natural HIstory Museum are all located near each other on a circular drive. On-street parking is hard to find, so just park in the Art Museum garage and leave your car there for the day. There are also amazing restaurants withing walking distance, including Trentina, Crop, L'Albatross and others. Many fast food options too since this is a college student campus for CWRU. Something for every age and every budget in this neighborhood.

It is a great collection of the Art museum (free admission), one of the world's best art museums, the Natural History Museum and the Botanical museum and Cleveland institute of Art, Cinematheque (Classic, can't see elsewhere films). When you are done, ask how to get to Little Italy across Euclid avenue to get some great authentic Italian cuisine. Mange!

Parade the Circle is the first Saturday in June. No matter how old or who you are it is a guaranteed hit! The talent and spectacle is amazing to experience. University Circle is amazing. An entire weekend could be spent in the venues..The Botanical Gardens, Museum of Art, Natural History Museum, MOCA art museum...Wade Oval Wednesdays...so much to do and see of such a tremendous quality. Must be on your list of places to visit...

A nice area that I would recommend HOWEVER, the area surrounding it can be a bit dangerous so I'd suggest you not go alone. The area is usually pretty safe being right by the museums, botanical garden, CWRU and CIA. Yet it is also is close to the tail end of the sketchy parts of down town Cleveland so just keep your guard up. It can be very nice!

You don't just have one to visit in this loop.Make sure you take a day to visit all that there. Children will love this

Case Western University is here, so along with that comes a lot of stores, pretty buildings, and activities. There are several museums, even a car museum, in this area and a botanical garden. In recent years, Euclid Avenue has really blossomed with stores, apartments, and restaurants. Many students live in this area, so it is pretty lively. During the summer, there are concerts in Wade Park. Severance Hall is a beautiful building that is also in this area. If you visit Cleveland, this is DEFINITELY a place you MUST visit. Driving around this area, particularly around rush hours, is a huge pain. Finding parking spaces can be difficult too.

This area is definitely a highlight of Cleveland. I've been to all the restaurants and bakeries on Murry Hill. You have to see all of the museums. Especially the new exhibits at the Museum of Art and Case Western Reserve Historical society. There are so many other new places by CWRU to see and do.

this place has been cleaned up and fixed up a lot since I was a child. We always love the free winter events.

The region of this area of Cleveland where I was is called Wade Oval, which is a small portion of the University Circle, which contains: The Cleveland Museum of Art, Cleveland Botanical Garden, Cleveland Orchestra, The Western Reserve Historical Society and Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum...and even more stuff. You could spend a lot of time here at these institutions and really never leave. I spent my time primarily at The Western Reserve Historical Society which has a great car exhibit. That is what was interesting to me and you have to find your own thing, but there is no food here and it's hard to find a parking spot. So get there early and when you get hungry go to Little Italy for food and coffee.Enjoy!

If you are looking for something upbeat to do on a Friday night, check out the Cleveland Museum of Art for a Mix event. If you are a member of CMA, your admission ticket is free. If you are not a member, for a fee of $10.00 you have endless entertainment from 5 - 9 p.m. Meet your friends in the beautiful Atrium or make new friends in the crowd, view the latest exhibit, see a movie, wander through the galleries and gift shop, have a bite to eat and try the evening's drink special. Express your sense of fashion - dress for the theme of the event.

University Circle, especially the area near Ford and Euclid, has changed dramatically in the last 5 years. There are new restaurants, a new MOCA building, new dorms and apartments, and a new Euclid Tavern!Combine everything - UH, CWRU, Severance Hall, the Art Museum, Little Italy, the Cleveland Clinic, and you have a great package.

University Circle is up-and-coming! It has a lot of museums, holds CWRU, Little Italy, and UH (University Hospitals) along with many new shops! This place is really cool and should definitely be checked out :)Little Italy has delicious food!!

The University Circle is a precinct containing a cllection of University Buildings and public buildings including concert halls, botanic gardens, museums and galleries. A bus runs along Euclid Avenue to downtown and there a various shuttle buses from the Cleveland Clinic and other centres. Once reached it is all pretty accessible on foot.

A very happening place to be. Favorite things are free lectures/talks at CWRU, Summertime concerts, Art Museum, a cocktail and dining at L'Albatoss and much more. Enjoy the architecture genius of Frank Gehry and the Peter B. Lewis Business School. Museum of Contemporary Art is very worthwhile with interesting, cutting-edge exhibits. Cinemateque screens indy, foreign, classic movies. And there is usually a nice exhibit at the Cleveland Inst. of Art., music performances at the Cleveland Inst. of Music. Lots to do, much to see with Little Italy 5 min away for dining choices.

One of my favorite places to stroll around in Cleveland. With so much to do in one place, you definitely could make a day (or two) of visiting.
