If you are visiting Lebanon , Ohio and have an interest in history you will want to visit GLENDOWER , Historic Mansion. This is the only historic home in Lebanon and one of the few open to the public in Warren Co. It is open during Dec and is decorated for Christmas and open some weekends during the summer with a Civil War encampment on the lawn every September . Guided tours make history come alive and will be enjoyed by all. Admission is charged . This is a "must see" in Lebanon. Tip: There is no disabled access to this building. There are steps/stairs.

If you want to see how life was for the rich and famous in Lebanon it is great to walk through this house. The tour guides are so knowledgeable. I loved hearing all about life so long ago. They do a great job of decorating for Christmas and explain a lot about the holiday way back then. Great for homeschoolers

Great history - up close and personal tour. Tour guides were so informative. Price was great. Hidden gem. Worth looking for. Nice place to spend a rainy afternoon
