We have an elderly friend who has difficulty seeing, can't drive and uses a walker. We were trying to find the perfect gift to give her for Christmas. We took her for an overnight stay at the Carlisle Inn in Sugarcreek, Ohio and got front row seats at the show, Half-Stitched the next day. WOW! What an amazing place with an amazing staff. We could not have been treated better anywhere. The Inn was decorated beautifully for the holidays. The atmosphere was so homey. The production was supberb! We were able to take her to a couple gift shops, the bakery and the restaurant. The staff at all locations went out of their way to give her the best possible time ever. She will talk about this to all her firends (as will we). To anyone out there...if you get a chance, please don't miss it. Enjoy the Carlisle Inn and the amazing productions.

While visiting Ohio Amish Country in November 2014, my husband and I saw the play "Half-Stitched - The Musical" at the Carlisle Inn in Sugarcreek Ohio. The musical was absolutely wonderful. Just visiting the hotel and the shops around it was a treat but the play just topped it all off. Although the theatre is small it is very comfortable. I don't suppose that there is a bad seat in the house. The actors were amazing and the music was outstanding. Having read the book before seeing the play I had wondered how they could possibly tell the story on such a small stage but they did a brilliant job. My husband and I were both very impressed with the production and hope to return to see "Josiah for President" next year. In fact, we may be returning next spring for a repeat viewing of "Half-Stitched The Musical" with a group from our church. I highly recommend this show!

Didn't know what to expect when we went to see Half-Stitched Musical. I laughed and cried. Even if you aren't into quilting, you will enjoy this play. It is about life and how our lives are pieced together. Very well done and the singing was awesome.

We were pleasantly surprise at the quality of acting. We have attended Broadway Plays, local products in several states and did not know what to expect. The audience was seated around the middle of the floor. Actors were up close and did an excellent job. The play was "Half-Stitched".

Dear mjpk25,Thank you for taking the time to review your experience at our theater. I sincerely appreciate you attending a show and giving us valuable feedback. I will address the sound issue with our technical staff as I believe something must have recently went awry with the sound settings as I have heard this complaint a couple times in the past week. As for the seating, I don't hear this complaint often, but I certainly value your input and will re-evaluate our set-up to see if there are ways to improve.Thank you again for attending the show and if I can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.At Your Service,Mike MillerGeneral Manager

If you are looking for a Weekend get-a-way Surgarcreek/Walnutcreek is the place- and after you have shopped and eaten your way through the town- Be sure to stop and see "Half - Stitched" at the Carlisle Inn in Surgarcreek. A delightful musical that will keep you entertained from the minute it opens. Well worth the price of admission.

We saw Half-Stitched on our honeymoon last year. This year we came back to see The Confession. For a smaller sized venue, I was pleasantly surprised at the professional production and the incredible talent of the actors and actresses. Their voices were phenomenal. This is well worth the time and money spent. We all enjoyed it thoroughly. The theater is conveniently located next to the Dutch Valley Restaurant. Plan to get there a little early to avoid the dinner crowd. Then you will have time to walk to a few close by shops. And bring along a few extra dollars. At intermission, you can pick up some soda and dessert goodies in the lobby.

We saw "The Confession" this year and last year saw "Half-Stitched - The Musical". Both were excellent and well worth attending. This is a theater in the round which makes it very intimate.
