Last week we took a group of Catholic scouts who were earning their religious awards to the shrine. A truly beautiful facility. Outside is an exact replica of Our Lady of Lebanon found in Europe. The tower is 55 foot high with the Virgin Mary extending another 16 feet atop it. Totally accessible be stairs. Under the tower is a chapel while behind the facility/church is a walk-able Stations of the Cross. The church itself is quite beautiful with Monsignor Spinosa acting as the religious carer giver the Maronite congregation. This is the second time we've used the facility as a Retreat center. Last year we came and returned this year again to put on our program. Very pleased with the facility and the service. It's well worth one's while to stop in and visit the grounds, the statue, the gift shop and the church. Quite impressive.
