Ate at the Buckeye Bar for late afternoon snack. Service was a little slow due to the July 4 holiday but otherwise a great watering hole close to everything. Many excellent beers on tap.

a few good things...putt putt golf, really great buckeye ice cream, and a bakery with the best baked goods ever.

Try the ice cream, beer, tee shirts, souvenirs, putt putt and even grab a massage. Plenty of action for all ages. Fun live bands at he Buckeye Bar.

When you're on Kelley's Island, make sure to visit Caddy Shack Square. It has something for everyone -- putt-putt golf, ice cream, bicycle and golf cart rentals, shops, a restaurant and inside/outside bars. On the weekend nights, a band or DJ is there for entertainment, but even more entertaining is watching people get crazy.Get the pizza - It's very good and the best-tasting on the island.

Well I hate dancing, but it is a great place. During the day kids will love the putt-putt, ice cream, food & can rent bikes. I think you can rent golf carts too, but I may be wrong there. There is shopping and very close to other restaurants, bars & shopping. In my opinion they have some of the best pizza. Perhaps this is fueld by hops but I do like it and the menu is that of a sub shop. Good all around. Cold beer, a game is always on and at night it can get nutty but in a good way. Highly recommended if you like people who at midnight turn into sailors who can't dance worth a lick!

There's really not a whole lot of variety on Kelleys Island, so we thought pizza would be a safe choice. We had to wait forever, but to be fair the place was rather busy. When we finally got our pizza, it was disappointing as it didn't have much taste. I've rarely met a pizza I didn't like, but this really was bland. I don't recall the price, so I can't speak to that. Regardless, I wouldn't go back.

It's small, but a lot to do unless you place miniature golf. A few good shops. Worth a visit. Like the bakery. The General Store across the street had a lot of items we purchased as gifts - go there.

Screams "Vacation!" Lots of signs, outdoor tables, bar next door to restaurant (with own bar), next door to....souveniers, coffee shop, ice cream stand. Family ate in restaurant, more like a beach bar in decor, with music inside and out. You line up to order at the window from chalked-in menus on wall- we got pizzas only having been told that this is THE best pizza, sandwich and salad joint on the island. Food delivered to table, along with water refills. Pleasant staff despite having crowds all day and running out of some ingredient/toppings. The food was really good for what it is. The Italian and the pulled pork sandwiches sounded really good, but we were only there for one meal. The bar had lots of interesting-sounding beers on tap. Nuthin fancy. Would go again.

There was a grouchy lady at the rental counter that was telling people not to swing their putt putt clubs. They were out of 2 person carts and the grouch would not let us rent hourly to start and give us the four hour discount if we kept the cart for that long. After some research, we decided to get a cart from the General Store across the street, where they were much nicer and did allow you to rent hourly and still get the four hour discount.

The Caddy Shack Square was dead on the fall day we visited. It was chilly in September, and most activities were outside. The Put Put golf course looked nice. The Buckeye Bar was crowded in the afternoon. Many of the shops we wanted to experience were not open, but we were at "the square" at 10:30 on a Saturday in September. The coffee shop was delicious, the latte and the quiche was splendid - you will not be disappointed...so be sure to visit! There are so many baked options that everyone will find a favorite

She is rude and demanding and complains about everything she has to do. There is a number on the sign that says if you have a problem call this number...she answers the phone. There are a million other places to rent a golf cart on Kelleys Island. Do not rent from her. She charged us an extra 1/2 hour because SHE was not there when we returned our cart. We waited for her to return for 10 mins and it cost us more money. That was when she went into a tirade about not being able to be in 2 places at once....blah blah blah. AND she never checked the charge on our cart..our max speed was 7 mph...we were getting passed by people on bikes and cars and joggers and people with walkers!! She is a bitter old hag.

Lots of things to do for all ages during all times of the day. Very clean public restroooms across the street. Live entertainment on the weekends.

Not sure why this place doesn't have a separate listing under "Restaurants", but it should. Without a doubt the best pizza on the island...it might even give Frosty's (Put-in-Bay) a run for their money, and that's saying a LOT. You'll also want to try the hot subs/hoagies. Fantastic! Added bonus is the most varied beer selection on the island. Dozens of different beers! And lots of big screens make it the best place to watch a game. This place is a winner. The only negative would be the lazy adults who let their kids run wild through the bar after after a round of putt-putt - but short of banning kids - that's not really the restaurant's fault. Hey Mom & Dad...try parenting! A bar isn't a playground.

I had the exact same experience last summer as the previous two visitors. Seems things have not changed. The woman attendant running the golf cart rental was so cantankerous to deal with all our friends remembered to specifically rent our carts elsewhere this visit to the island.

RENT GOLF CARTS FROM OTHER PLACES IF YOUR ABLE TO. The employees at Caddy Shack are rude and dont care about good service or you having an enjoyable time. The General Store directly across the street has nicer golf carts, good rates, and friendly service.Caddy Shack is a rip off unless you want to pay for crap.
