If you are looking for what's new in Indy movies, this is the place. Six screens that let them show a broad spectrum of films in different venues. Beer and wine for sale as well as great popcornN. This is for the real movie buff. You can often catch two great films in a day.

Cleveland Cinemas does all of the little things great that make this our choice when we see movies. From their freshly popped pop corn to beer and wine availability to other local snacking treats. They specialize in smaller run movies that most of the big cineplexs won't carry.

I have been going to Cleveland Cinemas for a few years or so for almost all of the movies I see outside of home-viewing. I typically go to the Cedar-Lee or its sister theater, Chagrin Cinemas, depending on the offerings and how the movie times fit into my schedule. There are a number of reasons I like to go to the Cedar-Lee and Chagrin Cinemas:* They don't play the same run-of-the-mill movies you can see at every other theater - Quality selection* Marquee Rewards Card - allows you to earn Free Drinks, Popcorn and even free Movie Tickets. There are also special screening that are offered to Marquee Members* Smaller individual screening areas, unlike the megaplexes * The audiences are more mature, therefore, you don't have the loud talking, texting and goofing around while trying to watch the movie* $6.00 days and $6.00 Senior Tickets* Lots of great restaurant choices for before or after movie dining* Beer and wine available at the concession stand* Short ticket lines - however, even when the lines get a little long, they have two booths open and the lines moves quickly* Courteous ticket office staff

Alongside a large choice of more popular fare, there is always at least one off-the-beaten track movie playing here, of high quality, e.g. Cannes or Berlin prize-winning foreign movies, or first-rate American independant films. If a film is recommended by the NYT, NYer, Ebert, etc., it will make its way to the Cedar Lee. So good that my wife and I drive all the way from Oberlin to go here. Friendly atmosphere, comfy, w above average refreshments and freq visitor specials. The best commericial movie theater in all of NE Ohio.

Great atmosphere for viewing current releases as well as old classics. Monday night special of $6 a person is a nice attraction.

I love this movie theatre. It is old and refurbished on the inside. The movie selection is eclectic (in a good way) and if you want you want to see a movie and can't find it any where else, you'll probably find it at the Cedar Lee.

Too cramped to enjoy anything but a groping - but they do serve liquor or beer and have all the latest off circuit movies

I like to come here because of the good variety of movies that come here. They play old classics, artsy movies, popular movies, and some obscure movies. They sell beer at the concession stand, which is cool.

This is like taking a trip in a time machine! The lobby is beautiful. You can order beer and wine (no wine on Sundays-strange...) along with hummus, scones, and the usual movie theater popcorn. Prices are a little less than the big chain theaters. Definitely worth a trip!

Cleveland has few choices for "art house" movies and this is one of them. But, they also have many of the "big" movies.Downside - some of the theaters are really, really small.a

Cedar Lee is a Cleveland East Side iconic theatre showing a diverse mix of indie films and documentaries. There are multiple theaters but several are like seeing a show in your garage. That said what you get there and on the Cedar-Lee strip is what dinner and a movie is supposed to be about. I saw my first movie there in the early 80's called The Last Metro and it is still going strong today as we have enjoyed it many times since since returning to NorthEast Ohio in 2009.

This is a well maintained old movie theater that has allot of charm.Very well maintained. The seating in the front section was regular seating and in back was stadium style.Leg room was kind of tight.
