mosser glass company

I wanted to visit the glass company to find a figurine. While I did get a frog, they only had one style in two colors. Also, they didn't have that big of a selection of figurines. As far as the other items which included glasses, bowls, etc. they were beautiful.

A very interesting glass factory. All made by hand!!!! The tour of the factory is very short, but very informative. The glass pieces are quite beautiful and one will probably leave the gift shop with a purchase in hand.

We stopped by here to see the operation of making glass. The tour was not very long, but very informative. There are about 6 men who work the different types of glass produced by the factory and we were able to watch as they were in the process of making a certain type of bowl. We were then shown the area were the items after cooling were inspected one more time before packaging for shipment. The display and sales area was tastefully decorated with many of the items that are in their catalog. We bought several pieces and are very pleased with them. Would go back again if it were closer

One of the last old time glass companies in service. I was not the most enthusiastic person when I heard we were visiting here. I was wrong. Very interesting and well worth the visit. No automation, just workers making glass pieces, one by one. Well worth the visit.
