Whirlyball is an awesome game. It is a combination of Dodgem cars, basketball and jai alai. It is 5v5 for a 10-18 minute game depending on what you want. You rent the courts by the hour so basically you can have as many people as you want depending on how often you want change teams. The cost is $160 per hour, so if you have 20 people you can play for 2 hours for $16. I think this is pretty reasonable for 2 hours of fun. It as much fun to watch other people in your group play so having around 20 in a group works well. Keep in mind that you need to make reservations. They schedule the referees based on the number of groups they have in the schedule.In addition to the games they also have a full bar with draft beer and soda. The only thing you need plan ahead for is food. There is not much that they have in the way of snacks, but you can order food from local food places. You need to order this through Whirlyball Cleveland well in advance from you reservation. This disadvantage is we had planned on eating nearby before our game and had not eaten. We got stuck in a traffic jam and had to skip dinner. That left us with pretzels and corn dogs at the Whirlyball place. Better than nothing, but not great.So make a reservation and get ready to have fun.

I've had numerous events at Whirlyball. I plan an annual Whirlyball game with my friends, and last year I took my after-school programs as part of our end - of - the - year festivities. Despite the people and experiences we've had, one thing is universal: everyone loved it!The game is easy to learn, difficult to master, but always lots of fun to play. Kids and adults alike will enjoy this sport. Couple that with the laser tag, bowling alleys, arcade games . . . there's a lot to do here, and something for everyone!The cost for renting a court is very reasonable, and you will definitely get your money's worth. Spilt the cost amongst the ten you need for a full game, and it comes to only ten or twenty dollars per person. The owner is extremely friendly and does his best to make everything as great as possible. Plus, its a very family orientated place. I love giving them business. If you are planning a family event or reunion in the Cleveland area, seriously consider Whirlyball as your venue. Its outrageously fun!

We went to this place as part of a family get together. There were 18 of us ranging from age 2 to 73. We went bowling and played laser tag with reduced participation from the over 70 crowd. We were the only ones bowling, not a lot of lanes but it was in good condition with all modern equipment. The laser tag had a number of different games and a huge playing arena with balconies on both sides. It also had a viewing area for those who don't play. We had it all to ourselves and everyone had a blast. We did not play whirlyball, but it was fun even to watch. My 6 year old just watched them play for 15-20 minutes. It looked kind of dangerous. They also had pool, video games, and a bar. We will definitely go back next time we visit Cleveland.

Great place to take friends for a fun night! We played 3 games of whirleyball, had a snack and something to drink and lots of fun together. Rick was welcoming to our small group. We are going to go back and go bowling next time.

My company does a few outing here a year. Whirley ball is played using a modified bumper car. It has an interesting steering stick instead of a wheel. It takes a few minutes to get used to. The goal is to use your scoop to pick up or catch a pass from a teammate and shoot at a backboard. Hitting the backboard is one point. If you hit the net (basically the square on a regular backboard) it lights up and you get three points. A unique but fun experience. Plus there's a bar. Highly recommended. I've only done the laser tag once but it was fun. There's a second level on each end to make things a bit more interesting. I've heard since my visit they have moved the bar and put in bowling as well. I have not seen it myself.

Ok this is a blast and completely different. Have you ever done bumper cars, with La Cross and Basketball all at the same time.We rented the court for an hour - and the family (10 of us) had a great time. Highly recommended for a group outing or just for some family fun.

Basketball on dodgems cars, kind of neat. Call first and make sure they are open or don't have leagues. Great for a kids party or even a team bonding experience. You sit in dodgems, and shoot the whiffle ball through a hole in a backboard looking thing. You use a scoop to pick up the ball. It is something unique.
