The Gift Shop has what you want to buy in maple; dressings, syrups, spreads, cookies, candies and maple sugar. As well as pancake mix, cake mixes, etc. There are also cute Christmas ornaments (Vermont) hand-painted, and metal painted of the state t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and stuffed animals. They also offer gift basket that you can order and a few already packaged and ready to go. I would just suggest getting together with others from the area and having a more balanced package. Cute to have so much of the same thing but perhaps some chocolates from Laughing Moon (Stowe), Maple Candies from you guys, etc... a VERMONT package. There are samples of the candy and syrup when you walk in the door and an informative video playing, if you don't have time to go to the museum. The ladies working there, think of your Nana, at least the day we were there, could not have been more helpful.

Gift shop had samples of maple syrups and maple candy, as well as many other products. Also had interesting video of the process of making maple syrup.

Love this tourist spot. Too bad there are no tours of the making process no more. You can purchase a maple creamie. They have cute gifts. Also, an example of a sugar house and how they sugar. Smells so good that buttery maple infuser!

This is a little museum that explains the maple syrup process and has a fantastic gift shop with everything from syrup to salad dressings and any trinket you can imagine

When we would eat at a Cracker Barrel Restaurant, I would always buy a box of Maple Grove maple candy. After looking at the address of the facility and checking out their website, I decided I would like to go to the place where these delicious confections are made. We went to their factory and gift shop in St. Johnsbury, VA, and I am so glad that we did. The nicest ladies work in the shop, and we mailed gifts back to our family in Georgia. Would not mind going back, sweet little town.

We stopped at the Maple Grove Farms expecting to get a factory tour. It turned out that tours are not offered at this facility. There is a very small museum with some maple evaporation and candy making equipment. There's also a short video describing how maple syrup is produced. The store is actually much larger than the museum. There are some nice locally produced maple products in the store, but otherwise don't go out of your way to visit.

We drive from Stowe to see the museum and take a tour. The website said plan to spend an hour.... However they stopped doing yours four years ago and the museum was closed. At least we got cheap syrup.

I enjoyed the sweet smell of maple syrup. They have a small area explaining how the process of making maple syrup happens. No longer a tour. They had a great little shop that had a wide variety of maple products. We were in the area and with that being said, it was worth the stop.

We actually went a bit out of our way for this. It was ok to visit but knowing what I do now we would have passed this by being that there are tons of maple places in Vermont that basically have the same things. We wished they still had tours but all they have now is a small building that houses some info on how they make syrup. And again, being Vermont, there were many places for this. Nice size store with decent prices, a small area set aside in the store with a video of Vermont maple history and an area for tastings. If you go, try their maple ice cream!! It was the best thing about the place!!

We were late... we called... and the woman on the phone talked to us through the roads so that we can get there... and waited and didn't close the store so that we can make it, even after hours. They let you taste the syrups and the selection is very nice. We enjoyed our time at the store and are thankful for the great service we got

We traveled the back mountain roads and came across this little syrup factory where the air smelled sweet and clean. We sampled various delights in the gift shop and bought some of their syrup. The staff was friendly.

The grounds are beautiful and the people are friendly. We enjoyed sampling the different products made from their own maple syrup.
