My husband, 7 month old daughter and I stopped here on Valentine's Day weekend. We LOVED it!!! They were having a mead and truffle tasting. Let's just say we are now mead lovers. We picked up about 7 bottles of mead and an assortment of truffles. The owner was an excellent host. Showing us everything that goes into making mead. This may have been our favorite stop in Vermont. Loved!!!!!

The Artesano Meadery is a great stop for mead tasting and an informative tour of what mead actually is. Mead is a wine made of honey. This Meadery has excellent mead. Not too syrupy or sweet. They had 10 different flavors of mead on our visit. We ended up buying three. Mark (the brewmaster) gave us a tour and gave great information on the brewing process. Lisa introduced us to the different flavors in the tasting. It is worth a short trip to taste these wines. Easy access.
