We stopped by as we were out exploring on a particularly cold day. The place is nice and has lots of stuff for sale made from maple syrup. Plenty of candies, fudge, cheese and of course, maple syrup by the gallon. They have a small room of to the right side of the building that holds some old and new maple tapping and syrup production equipment with a short video and little plaques that describe the items. Very small, but pretty cool and worth the 10 minutes to read through the room. The folks here are VERY friendly and helpful. They also carry Brown & Jenkins Coffee, which is a little harder to find since the retail shop closed in November 2014. That was a plus for me!

Saw this place advertised all over and decided to make the 40 minute drive from Burlington. The drive was beautiful but the outlet was a disappointment . It's a small building with all things maple in a very rural area. Nothing seemed really fresh. If you need to use the restroom, there is one port-a-potty in the back!

Stopped here because the guy where we got gas told us they had the best maple creamy. It was so good. Very creamy & the flavor of the maple wasn't over whelming. They use their syrup they make. Had sryup, honey and such for sale

Nice variety of items: honey, syrup, candies, household items, tshirts, hats, etc & we found their prices to be better than surrounding shops. Friendly service too!

This place offers a variety of goods including maple syrup, jams, shirts and souvenirs. It also has a small area that explains how you actually make maple syrup. The best part though is they sell creemes. This is a vermont term for soft serve ice cream. The Vermont Maple Outlet of course sells maple creemes which are good - the maple creeme sundae is even better as they pour fancy maple syrup over the ice cream. Quite delicious.

We drove from Burlington to Smugglers Notch and found this place on the way. We stopped since we were running out of maple syrup. It is a nice little store with a good selection of maple products and other Vermont stuff. The friendly lady behind the counter lets you sample the syrup. We walked out with a bottle of Grade B.

I've been into maple syrups for couple of years now and I've been buying maple syrups when we go on a vacation to Canada, new hempshire or vermont. I couldn't find any good maple syrup shop until I found this place! They were definiately priced like an outlet. I bought a quart size (946ml) jug at 14.99! I bought my last maple syrup at $12.46 from Canada's duty free shop and it was only a 500ml size. This place had half quart size priced at $10.99! It was certainly priced well than all other maple syrups shops I've been to! Probably because they are the original makers, not a secondary shop. I was impressed with their display/ tiny museum like decor of how maple syrups are made. They had honeys as well!! I wanted to try them so I bought a 2LB honey at $14.99. That's like double the amount of getting a 3LB jar from BJs but I'm sure they are better local honey.I was very happy to find this place, now I'll make a stop here every time we visit Smuggler's Notch.Oh, the soft service maple ice cream was delicious!!!! It was $2.50 for a regular cup- not cheap but still worth every penny.

Nice selection of maple products. Prices are in line with other locations selling similar products. The maple creemee is very good. Do not go for small supersize it you will not be disappointed.

See how maple syrup and honey are made without the muss and fuss! Samples available and reasonably priced. Make sure to take some home. No more than 20 - 30 min needed here and a good place to stop for a rainy day.

Wonderful selection of syrup, gift items and candies with very friendly staff in the center of a newly renovated main street. A nice shopping/movie day/meal day in a picturesque town in Vt. Always a stop when visiting St. Albans.
