If you love chocolate then you have to visit the village peddler in eithe east Arlington or downtown Bennington Vt! Most of the candy is made right there using mostly Vermont products. There is no place like it. Whatever you can think of they have it. Special candy made for each holiday as we'll. Judy and nick, owners, are wonderful to meet. They are always thinking of different things to do to get you into their stores. From making a giant peanut butter cup to giant rabbits etc. they even have a miniature village completely made of what else, chocolate. I can' t get enough. You will love it to. Great for gifts. Visit!!!

Walk back in time and visit the Village Peddler store in VT. It has quite a collection of products from great cheeses, candies, fudge, cured meats, jams, peanut butters and other foods many of which are sampled on the floor. The range in early 1900's styles of foods and candies to present day. They have many products like clothing, household goods, and many hard to find types of products such as tick removers, bees wax, lotions and other early days remedies. They have a catalog which is very popular. The prices are somewhat high on many items but they have an awful lot of hard to find items that makes up for the pricing. Above all it is a fun place to visit and walk around for a couple of hours.
