Newly renovated Harborside course was in perfect condition. Greens are a challenge so don't get above the hole or your putt may wind up off off the green. There is a par five on the Blue nine that is a severe dogleg right and scary enough to make your knees quake! Beautiful views of pristine Sarasota Bay and the Sarasota skyline. Only problem comes if you want to stay after golf and dine in the restaurant, The Tavern. No luck unless you are a hotel guest or club member. Disappointing end to a lovely day of golf...especially since the restaurant was empty!

The hotel did compensate us when we complained, however, for the first time in nearly 20 years we were disappointed that the Harbourside Golf, as the only one open until October, was in such poor condition.

3 different nine hole courses, red, white and blue. Blue is the most challenging, following by white and the easy red course. Typical Florida golfing here, lots of sand water and hazards. This is a position course and not for long drivers. The course is well maintained

We had a company tournament. The course was in perfect condition. Carts and rental clubs were ready for us. Service was excellent. The beverage cart was always nearby! Finished the round in 3 1/2 hours. A perfect day.

Dont' play here unless you like to pay an exhoritant price for a medicore course that is in terrible condition.

The driving range is great and free with your room stay. Small pond has jumping fish in it, very cool.

Went to this course in an ongoing effort to get a rise out of my putter After seeing the sights of 80 year old women my flaccid putter became inert. After a quick diversion to cheetahs. I was able to not only perform on the course but also on the beach as I chased around those gggilfs

Each of the three courses is a little different that makes for an enhanced experience. Staff at all courses experienced.

This, and the Islandside Course, also owned by the Long Boat Key Club Hotel and Resort, are the best and only golf courses on Long Boat Key., and there are none on Anna Maria or Siesta Key. Courses are pretty narrow and lots of water. Maintained well for a Hotel/Resort set up, but just OK to a private club standard. Club House restaurant is pretty good, and recently remodeled with a overhauled menu.

Can be played by members and guests of the Longboat Key Resort. Beautiful layout and interesting links. Of the three nines I'd play the Blue Herron and Red Hawk courses.

Beautiful course - however - lots of water, narrow fairways, sand everywhere - unless you are precise - bring lots of extra balls and prepare for a long day. Wanted to play Islandside - but closed for aeration. I think we may go to Sarasota next time - it wasn't worth the frustration.
