Due to weather wedding had to be held inside. Very romantic setting, lovely candles, bathrooms very clean. Wait service excellent, food delicious. Appetizers passed around were piping hot. Buffet food excellent. Outside porch for dinner lovely.

Who knew croquet was such a strategic game? Our instructor Bob taught the basic skills and strategies of the game to four of us who hadn't played since we were kids. Great fun for a couple of hours.

This was a highlight to our visit to West Palm Beach. We are now looking for opportunities to play regularly.

If you have never been and you are a croquet enthuisist I would highly recommend the National Croquet Center. The Clubhouse is very beautiful and the instructors there are world class. I have taken several groups of the members at my club down here and everyone always has a great time. During the winter and especially in early spring is the perfect time to go before it gets to hot. My groups always try to go sometime in March and if that doesn't work early April before it gets to hot.

This is a great place for Mother's Day. They gave my wife, grandmother and mother a rose when we left to top off the day. What a wonderful buffet and view of the croquet fields. Sit outside and enjoy the breeze. Enjoy a cold drink and love you family.

Free lesson at the Croquet center was a lot of fun. I took 3 nieces, the only drawback was by youngest niece (age 10) is quite small. Croquet mallet didn't quite fit. I'd advise older children only. Drink plenty of water especially in the summer. Had a great time.

The facility is wonderful, and offers great food and a walk into another world. But where the real fun rests is within the croquet! You will laugh like crazy, get a little competitive and find yourself anxious to do it again!

Not your backyard croquet. Manicured putting green quality fields make this a game of skill and strategy. Mostly members only, bit open play on selected days. Perfect outdoor entertainment for groups of 4 or more. Nostalgia and competitive fun in a sophisticated setting. Teens and above. Food and adult drinks are available - a bit pricy.

The croquet center is a beautiful place. The grounds & the gardens are well maintained. The club house was elegant with a large wraparound porch. The staff was very friendly & helpful.Every day they served us a nice breakfast & a wonderful lunch. The lunch menu had three very nice choices. I will return!! We went for a class. The instructor Bob Kroeger was the BEST!!

My friend and I meet up in WPB yearly and gave this a try. Free lessons for beginners on Saturday mornings at 10am. Taught by members who were knowledgeable and very nice and fun. Met some other great people to play with as well. Easy to find, and a very nice facility. The lawns were well taken care of. You can stay for a buffet lunch as well. We couldn't, but it looked good. Large veranda where you could relax and watch others play the game. Very nice setting for private functions and/or weddings. Club requires all white clothing. Beginners don't have to but we did to fit in with the others. All ages were taking the free lessons.

Great veranda which is close to the courts. The place really needs a nice bar. Indoors and outdoors. It would be a great add to the place. What club doesn't have a bar?

A group of 20 of us had a lovely lunch on the Veranda followed by a private lesson and croquet competition. Everyone had a blast! The facility is beautiful and the staff was excellent - very friendly and eager to share their passion for croquet with us novices. I think they converted most of us to this fun sport! I would highly recommend this as an outing for corporate events.

M y sister and I just went there for lunch. We sat on the veranda which overlooks the playing field. It was a beautiful day so the setting was perfect. The inside of the building is very "Tommy Bahama" in style, which I love. The food is good, but it is a mystery to me that very few people are ever there when I have been there, which is several times now. The is very little "wait" staff. My son and I went on a Mother's Day a couple of years ago and it was a DISASTER because there seemed to have been a "stike" with all the help and there was no one there except a few employees who were not restaurant staff. But other than that one time, it has been pleasant and relaxing.

I went to the National Croquet Center for a free lesson one Saturday, then ended up joining the summer league! Lots of us were beginners, but we were made to feel welcome and taught to love the sport. I ended up joining the club, and though someone said it was a sport for the wealthy, really almost anyone can afford some type of membership. It's certainly less then playing golf, and all the equipment is provided. Everyone is very friendly, and the Thursday afternoon Twilight Croquet is a lot of fun. You are pitted against different individuals, so you meet a lot of people. Call and make a reservation for the free Saturday lesson, and take it from there! I had also taken my Red Hat group there for lunch, and it's a beautiful setting for any kind of luncheon or event.
