This trail is great if your living in Clearwater or there on vacation and want to walk in a natural setting. Walked there in the morning and it was excellent. Would recommend.

Nice, quiet, safe, interesting, shady, restful place to go biking. I live near this trail and ride it weekly. Always wonderful times, except for that one wasp. Always something new to see.

I usually start at the Long Center, ride the trail to Bayshore, then north to the Safety Harbor pier (sometimes I see manatees), then on north through lovely Philippe Park and then reverse course. Crispers in the heart of Safety Harbor is a good place to eat.

This trail meanders through parks and forests. It is paved and fairly wide but it is a little short. Very enjoyable.

The worst part about this trail is how short it is (only 5 or 6 miles), but once you get over that minor detail, the Ream Wilson trail is one of the prettiest I have ever been on inside the city limits. It meanders through several city parks and natural areas, along with a few cute neighborhoods. The trail is well marked at road crossings and intersections, so getting lost is difficult to do. Next time, we plan to spend more time exploring in downtown Safety Harbor.
Holiday-Travels
Trail has been taken many times as it is in a major city location, yet uses their park systems to navigate several miles with minimal disruption. Quite scenic and with a Stop in Safety Harbor it is usually half day trip.
