This little hidden gem of a park is set way back off the road, which would probably be a little scary after dark. But during the day, it is a beautiful spot for a walk. The sidewalk takes you along the intercoastal waterway and in places into the trees. Beautiful with lots of shade, places to stop and rest, picnic tables, and even a small playground near the entrance.

Great paved walkways for bikes or walking. You can see several types of birds and sometimes dolphins when walking! Clean bathroom facilities and a bike repair station too. Lock your car don't leave valuables in sight. (Just like anywhere)

I reside less then a 1/4 mile from this park and it's a great place to walk with your leashed pets, to enjoy a few miles by bike or jogging along the snake like paths (both concrete and some dirt) and of course enjoying the views of some of the activity that abounds on the intracoastal waterway. There are plenty of shaded areas to rest, public restrooms, a nice size kids playground, a walk thru shaded children's memorial path for kids & teens that have passed away (names engraved in stones), some picnic benches for enjoy an afternoon snack or lunch and to feel the ocean breeze coming off the Atlantic. Visiting during the peak season from May to late September it's good bring some insect repellent to keep handy and also a pair of binoculars. You never know what you may see pop up from the river! Visiting during the non peak season from late September thru the beginning of May, morning sunsets can be bright so a pair of sunglasses will definitely help and hats! Longer days also means more fun under the sun. You can also opt to bring inline skates, if one chooses not to bring their personal bikes. There is a bike station at the parking lot. You can also go to our cities main website and from there pick this park, which will have and provide all the information as well.

Nice place to fish, spot manatees, bird watch, eat lunch, and take the kids to play. We've spotted 2 or 3 manatees here and it was very exciting.

Nice relaxing place to visit. Up close view of the Intracoastal Waterway and fun to watch the boats go by. Many benches to sit on and a long walking and biking path if you're so inclined. Good facilities nearby and ample parking. Fishing also if you care to.

We ride through this park on our bikes and always take a time-out here. Nice shelter, small playground for children, some nice sculptures and of course, the lovely intra-coastal. Lovely place to just sit and relax.

This place has a great paved walking trail. People also bike on it. You can bring your dog.The trail travels along the intercoastal so you have beautiful views. Often sailboats travel by and there is a lot of wild life to see. There is a small park for little kids to play at with swings and slides and such. They have picnic tables as well. They also have a small are set up as a memorial are for children who have passed away. You can sit and quietly meditate. There are wind chimes and the names of some children are marked on benches, etc. Sad but nice for those who can get comfort from it.

This was a good park to take the kids to, good view since it was right on the river, fun to watch the boats while the kids played. Had the usual swings and things for kids to play on, nothing out of ordinary, fenced in so that they could not wander which was good. There were also people fishing on the pier.
