One of the oldest and tallest lighthouses in the US. For $5 there is a museum, short nature walk and you can climb the 200+ stairs to the top for a spectacular view.

BikeWeek. Always a nice destination. Make it a lot. Great paves to do along the way. Lots of coastline to view.

I'd like to put in a plug for Lighthouse Point as a wonderful place for a walk--out onto the jetty where fishermen and surfers are plying their trade, or to the west, where wonderful birds are to be seen along the white sand shores of the Inlet, particularly in the stretch from the mangrove peninsula to the marina. This is my favorite spot for spending a morning shooting photos of birds. As a friend of the man who saved this little gem of a county park from total condo development, I give thanks every time I visit for such a beautiful place to enjoy the fresh air and appreciate nature's bounty. There is a fee for parking, so I buy an annual pass that makes it more affordable.

We enjoyed a nice picnic here. Squirrels are very brave and took food from our table, we enjoyed watching them play in the trees. Our daughter had fun playing on slides and swings. Be careful the slides get very hot in the summer.

Lighthouse had great looks and we enjoyed views from top of the lighthouse. It has quite a number of stairs steps but is worth climbing. Don't miss to photograph spiral -elliptical stairs. Great photos. Museum and gift shop was ok.

Families will like this for picnics exploring, fishing and history lessons. Price per car, per day, only $5.

The second tallest lighthouse in the U.S. and its grounds provides a nice visit for families and people interested in history. The view is panoramic, and the various outlying buildings are full of history.

If in that area go there, this is a great place to spent time. I love old school lighthouses, this one is a must see. Anywhere on the Atlantic from Florida to Newfoundland enjoy and save the old lighthouses.

Very private, lots of trails, great view of the lighthouse. Loved the Jetty and being able to see the waves splash on the rocks. Beautiful sand dunes!

Historical overview of area, one of America's tallest light houses; homes for lighthouse keeper and family; museums with teaching methods; great place for all to experience!

One of my families favorite beach spots! You have beach on one side, inlet on the other. Can see dolphins and manatees on the inlet side. Dog friendly.

Lighthouse Point Park is a county park, not part of the lighthouse. It does have a $5 fee, but it's a great park with nice boardwalks and a long jetty which is usually loaded with fishermen. It's also got a section of dog beach well isolated the swimming area. We live nearby and by a season pass. Great picnic place.

What a lovely area to take a stroll by the sea and watch dolphin playing nearby. People surf and fish here to. Many sea birds are also in this area including pelican. Nearby are restrooms and the lighthouse and a play area. There is also a picnic area. The entrance fee is $5 dollars and it shuts at 6 p.m.

The history of the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse is very interest and it is surrounded by a beautiful State Park with sand dunes and beaches and of course the inlet. Great outing for the family.
