First thing, you need to get here early. It only has about 50-60 parking spots, and they fill up quick. Tables and BBQ's a plenty, with a nice little park for the kids. Lots of people have big family picnics here. Showers and bathrooms onsite which is nice. The beach access is good, with a lifeguard right there. This is the first beach I try everytime I go, but have been dissapointed a couple of times as the lot was full.

Pack a picnic and head out to this beach. There is limited parking which fills rapidly, so beware. Nice sandy beach that is raked by a tractor frequently AND it has a lifeguard tower on site. There are toilet facilities, a beverage machine, and two showers. The kids will love the nice little playground area too. Be cautious of the riptides and occasional dangerous marine life (review the sea conditions board by the lifeguard tower).

Always enjoyed this beach off A1a. Bring a picnic and walk up to one of the tables looking out over the ocean. There are even grills restrooms have always been clean. Almost can't get there early enough to park tho.

We go here almost daily. This morning, the waves were roiling in (an unusual event in South Florida!), while a golden sun was rising through the grey clouds on the horizon. The parking is free, but limited; however the turnover is fairly regular early in the morning and in the evening. Right now, they have a great maintenance person who is keeping the bathrooms clean, and is even sweeping the sand off the stairs. The beach, itself, is uncluttered and you can walk for miles if you want, or stay in the area that is protected by the lifeguards. From May to October, you can see dozens of turtle nests. Pelicans fly maneuvers overhead. Beach goers enjoy the sun in the morning and afternoon. People fish and swim, depending on the conditions. If you don't want to walk the beach, you can sit on the bench above the stairs. You can also barbecue in the shaded picnic area, and children can play on the playground.Small, but beautiful!

This is a great beach tucked away. The parking lot is small so get there early or you will wait forever for a spot. There's a ramp up to the playground, grills, outside shower, and bathrooms, but no ramp to the actual beach. There are lifeguards on duty so it's safe and they always have the water and weather conditions and warnings posted. The beach has nice soft sand and it's pretty wide. It never really gets too busy which is why the small parking lot makes the beach so nice! This beach is only 5 minutes from the house so I will often bike here. However, there is no bike rack to lock bikes up to.

Beautiful little park on the Atlantic. This is a very romantic place for couples. You have to traverse the park to get to the beach from the parking area.

This is a hidden gem... a gorgeous beach with a nice picnic area and facilities (bathroom, changing rooms, shower). The lifeguards are competent and if you're lucky you may see some sea turtle nests!Parking is limited so get there early. Bring a lunch and eat at the picinic tables!

I think that GulfStream park is very nice; the parking is small! If you don't get there early, people stand in front of a parking space and won't budge, they are saving it for friends! That's annoying! If you do get to park, there is bathrooms and a nice wood walkway down to the beach! There is a life guard station so swim in front of lifeguard! It is free to park and closes at dusk! The beach is Beautiful!!

I go back to the old days of racing here in So. Fl to such tracks named Tropical Park and Hialeah and expected the new grandstand at Gulfstream to be right on the finish line but unless you sit in the clubhouse or dining area or Silks the track caters to the big money , big bettors and the rich. Grandstand is not designed for the $2.00 bettor.

This park is one of the easily accessible public access points tot eh Atlantic Ocean in Boynton Beach- It has free parking and no fee for beach entry- many of the other locations along A1A require meter parking or there is no parking allowed even though there are many public access points - especially in the Briny Breezes Area- (the locals keep it well disguised which is totally understandable- NOT) The beach is guarded from 9a-5p- The park is really nicely kept and there are swings, outside showers, and facilities- all in immaculate condition-The beach itself is beautiful-BUT- there is a lot of debris that washes ashore on a daily basis that is not removed ......yet for a few times a month- the people that visit are very conscious of the "Green" aspect of the park and there is plenty of areas for disposing of trash. The debris I'm speaking of is coming in from the Atlantic Ocean- Man0wars-seaweed-plastic-papaer etc. NOT from park patrons.Life Guards- Top notch- Hands down- I have NEVER seen a better group- Excellent. If there is a shark in the area- they will be on top of it and everyone comes out of the water- no nonsense- and there are daily warnings if there are Man-o-wars in the area-Parking- There are only about 90 parking spaces- If you get there after 9am- especially in the "high" season you will have to wait for a parking spot to open up- this can be extremely challenging- and someday this "melee" is going to result (if it hasn't already) in someone getting seriously injured in a fight or run over by an idiot- it is almost frightening to see what goes on between the vacationers battling for a parking spot- who have no idea what the proper procedure is when acquiring a parking spot- Boynton Beach needs to institute a waiting cue lane- just like a taxi stand- so there is a method to the madness- before someone gets seriously injured. I have seen a volunteer "attendant" on duty occasionally but truthfully he seems to make more of a mess of things than as if he wasn't there at all. Just beware and be courteous and you should be fine- But if you come off the beach lets say around 1p- do not be surprised to be surrounded by people following you to your car to grab your spot- and that's when the fights occur (between multiple waiting patrons) WAKE UP BOYNTON BEACH! I would give it five stars if not for this parking problem.

We went for the races and never went in the casino. Parking and entrance were free. Everything was new and clean, although it wasn't always clear where we were supposed to go. There didn't seem to be any access to the paddock although there was seating around a parade ring where the horses walked around after being saddled. We stood and watched the races from the ground level. next time we would pay for the outdoor seats in the 2nd level in front of the indoor restaurant. As we left we stopped in many of the shops in the "village". They were all chain stores, but nice ones. There were plenty of restaurants as well. I would definitely go back if I ever go back to Miami.

Beautiful racetrack. The grounds are clean & well maintained. The surrounding "village" is well worth the visit if you are not into gambling at the track or in the casino. There are enough restaurants to satisfy most everyone.

This is the worst casino in Florida, maybe the world. You almost never see anyone winning a jackpot and the pathetic little excuse for a casino is usually empty. People who go there obviously have no idea how a real casino operates. They are willing to take the abuse just to go smoke-free.Avoid this place at all costs.
Lindazo
Offers the usual Casino environment, with a variety of slot machines to tempt the gambling instinct. The Chinese Cuisine served in a lovely restaurant was exceptionally good and those who are "regulars" often get promotional opportunities. A fun night out if you know how to spend your monies!

One of the small local stops with bathrooms, lifeguards, free parking. You will have to get there early as the spots fill up quick. Just north of the beach is a great little snorkeling area. Look for the ropes going into the ocean & swim out 30-50 yards to find some nice rock formations, & lots of tropicals.
