Played River Bend on 2/26 and the course was in fine shape and the greens were excellent. The back nine is especially interesting with great variety with good, consistent speed to the greens. Pace of play was very good and I highly recommend this course. Very reasonably priced with friendly staff.

Just as the headline says .... " A really nice golf course " .... greens and fairways were in good condition. The cart paths were a mess but I didn't come here for them - Tree lined fairways, and even if you had your " A " game there are a few holes that can eat you up. It's challenging but won't break you into tears - it's fair. The pro shop staff and the marshall were friendly and accommodating. Good value for the green fees -- we will definitely be coming back.

Friendly, beautiful course. Love to play here with the rolling hills and gorgeous oaks. I live locally and find it the best place around

The golf course is always is constantly maintained in excellent shape. The holes are very challenging and interesting to play. Not so that you need to be a pro to enjoy them, but different enough so that the holes don't all seem the same, or very similar,.like many courses do..

If you are looking for a lot of Par 4 & 5's difficult course, don't visit River Bend. This is a very well kept course that is not too hard. The greens & fairways are well kept & not too expensive to play. They have golf cart rental & a nice Pro Shop. River Bend Golf Course is right off of U S 1 in Ormond Beach, Fl. If you are looking for a great, reasonable, place to play golf, River Bend is the place for you!

Attended a dinner banquet here. Food was okay but nothing outstanding. Service was good. Banquet room is small, holds less than 50 people.

I thought I had booked a tee time online but when I arrived they had no tee time for me. But they put me out with a twosome and let me pay when I finished my round, after I contacted the booking service and determined they had not booked or charged me. Interesting holes, good greens. Nice sand in bunkers. Will play again.

Rated as one of the best public places to play in the Palm Coast-Daytona area, a recent trip was disappointment. The Tee boxes had just been aerated and the fairways and greens were in bad shape. In fairness, this past winter was very hard on all the area courses. The cold wet weather presented a host of problems which are just now being addressed. I was told to come back in the fall and try it.

We flew in to the adjacent airport (which deserves its own entry in Trip Advisor ) and walked across to River Bend for breakfast. Everyone was very friendly and the service was attentive and warm. They don't really have a breakfast menu but just asked us what we wanted and made it up for us. Had a nice seat on the patio watching the golfers coming and going. The restaurant looks as though it caters more to the lunch and dinner crowd and we will return to try that out when we get a chance. The facilities in the golf club are very good so I'll have to load my clubs next time too. Many thanks.

Not only is the course in A-1 shape but all the people who work there are great? Special thanks to the golf pro, Ken,great guy.

One of the better golf courses in the area with reasonable prices.. Our group playes there at least three times a month.. Fairways and greens in good shape.. Have both narrow and wide fairways.. When done playing head into the clubhouse pub and get a bite to eat.. Their food is wonderful.. The staff is even better.. FOUR

The course is in very good condition and this is quite a great value. We played it this weekend after taking a quick lesson from Ken, the pro. He helped both of our games AND scores. The bar was enjoyable as well after our round. We will absolutely seek this course out again when in the area.

Built in the Florida forest this course is fun and nice to play. Very enjoyable. Course has lots of narrow fairways and rolling hills. Alot of wildlife around the area. On certain days they have a special where you can get golf and dinner at a combined price. Check there website.

River bend is a nice little track does seem to play long but is in decent condition. It is quite busy most of the time but as a lot of the snowbirds have left for the summer it is opening up. Not a great place to eat, but having a quick drink in the bar is nice enough. Good value and a fun course

Beautiful layout. It is the loss leader in the area and is always packed. The latest thing is they seem to be double booking tee times so, the golfers are stacked up. Also, lots of outings and events and they do not tell you when you make a tee time. I even asked today, is the course busy? I was told no. We arrived to tee off on time and another group had the same tee time. It went downhill fast from there. Five and half hours later, in the dark on the coldest day of the year, our cart died near the end. Do I need to say more? If I had a nickel for every time these clowns gave me a cart with a dead battery, I'd be a rich as Tiger. Awful rotten, over crowded mess and we will not forget.
